My first post on this thread was a bit naughty, did not want to offend you, so I apologize.
I also use background coloring, but I try to use it for my trading approach. NinjaTrader will not let me select a gradient, but I can use different colors for the zone overlaps and change the opacity.
I can't seem to get my BackgroundGradient display to cover the axis and panel 2 on my chart (see my attached screenshot below); or that's the way it should be. You seem to have set your default background color to match the Gradient's color. Right ?
Can you share/post your settings or your template ?
Yeb.. . All I did was right clicking the chart and changed the backround color in properties....
Attached is the template,, Sharky´s creation... ( Thanks Sharky ) great template.. I love it... 4 Better Renko I feel is perfect setting for 6E .. and using DX along with it,, with same settings.. its awesome...
I suppose the simple way would be to put the same indicator on each panel.
Alternatively you can color both the price panel and the indicator panels the same colour by using the BackColor property.
(ChartControl.BackColor = Color.Green
But it won't take a brush and I don't yet know how(if?) you can convert the lineargradientbrush to a colour?
