In order to increase visibility to news events that may have a market impact, we have moved the Trade Desk calendar directly to the account dashboard.
To access, simply log in to your account dashboard and the calendar appears on the right-hand section of the main page. Clicking the 'See all' button will give users all upcoming events for the next 3 months.

The web NinjaTrader looks exactly the same as Tradovate, like literally a re-skin of Tradovate's platform.
I believe the reason behind this update is because NinjaTrader is owned by a VC firm, and the VC firm wants to IPO within the next 5 years.
NinjaTrader wants to be Robinhood, but for Futures trading. The web app doesn't even allow other brokerage connections, only NinjaTrader Brokerage.
I just really hope NinjaTrader doesn't break the original desktop version. The first change which requires a NinjaTrader login to open NinjaTrader desktop, even if using IBKR or Rithmic is the first bad step for NinjaTrader desktop users.
Wouldn't be surprised if NinjaTrader stops supporting non NinjaTrader brokerage accounts, and copies the other platforms. ThinkorSwim only for TD Ameritrade accounts, TWS only for IBKR, and NinjaTrader only for NinjaTrader Brokerage.
I'm surprised the achievements feature passed their internal compliance review. Must be walking a very fine line with regulators.
Even the new slogan on their homepage is pushing it. "Better Futures Start Now". I think NinjaTrader has the numbers showing the majority of their customer base loses money because the majority of their traders are not hedging or arbitraging, but purely speculating and way over their heads.
@NT Brokerage
my trades for today are not showing up in the Trade Performance tab with the new log in method. Still see everything from last week but not for today.

Moving the calendar behind a login wall, and not leaving the calendar immediately accessible as it was, does not increase visibility. If you left the calendar accessible as it was and also added the calendar to the account dashboard, then that would actually increase visibility.
I don't want to have to login to look at the calendar. It was fine as it was, directly accessible via bookmarkable website link.
Also, where is the current changes in margin page that was on the order desk, that we were supposed to keep an eye on in case NT changed the margin levels during the day?
