I think this thread underscores why using an IB is sometimes preferable to dealing with the FCM.
So hopefully you'll get things resolved one way or another, if you open an account with Optimus then you should theoretically get the best of both worlds.
One other thing I like about Optimus Futures that I think makes them unique is they are offering to bundle MultiCharts, something you can't find elsewhere. And since I love MultiCharts, this seems like a good idea to me
It would be pretty funny if optimus opens my account when vision themselves couldn't... I've just never seen someone not give a sh$t about getting new clients. I do want to add that vision told me that you can do ACH withdraws, saving money on wire transfers if you want to pay yourself at the end of the month.. Thats also a +. I think optimus should be able to do it as well.
Like i said, thats what everyone says... but the brokers all say differently. It really doesn't even matter. I don't really trust zenfire, since they were throttling the whole time. They had no right to charge a premium for a substandard data feed this entire time. Like i also mentioned before, rithmic for some reason never had the problems that zenfire had. In fact, ninja still has problems with zen, check out their forums about a sticky with people using the 64 bit connection. Again, this only affected zen customers, not rithmic/vision.
I'm using Ninja with TT (Velocity). I Couldn't find a more professional firm. Dale, the broker, answer all my emails in few minutes. No problems so far. I'm using DTN IQ for datafeed.
Thanks, but I already have a ninja TT account. The whole point was to use a broker that supplied proper bid/ask data so i can drop iq feed. TT's fix doesn't fit that criteria. But i do agree with you, I think velocity is a great firm, and i love their account portal. I refuse to pay ninja a multi-broker subscription... so thats not gonna happen.
I think its was just a wasted effort. I'll stick with IQ feed and my current broker.
