Sounds like a fairly good start. However, I don't plan on doing any work on it until around the Holiday Season. I think by then we will know if it is a Hero or Zero.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The broker API is not the only concern for x64 version of NT7. If you have any protected DLL commercial indicators they must be re-compiled with x64 and will not work in Ninja until they are. I am sure vendors will be charging for this 'upgrade'.
Thanks Bukkan. Call me lazy but between trying to learn NS/C# and R and related data management issues, examining alternatives to NT, trading to pay for it all, and trying to keep the day job... Level 1 tick replay is a feature I'd like supported natively in the platform .
October 18, 2009: We plan to release NinjaTrader Version 7 Beta 2 on Tuesday to our first wave of approximately 170 public beta testers bringing the total of beta particpants to over 300 individual users. Some highlights from this past week.
- I personally hosted an NT7 webinar presentation which lasted about 2.5 hours to an enthusiastic crowd. The demonstrations was very well received.
- We added user defined Fibonacci drawing tool templates to NinjaTrader 7
- We added Box chart style to NinjaTrader 7
Still with 6.5 not loading correctly on a daily basis I really have my hands full anyway - why it loads my workspace on the 3rd or 4th attempt really defeats me btw.
My experience is exactly the same as cunparis - 1 or 2 charts with simple indicators no problems - 26 charts with simple indicators and it all sloooows doooooooooowwn and stops.
I hate looking forward to upgrades - invariably they solve some problems and highlight new ones - however these smilies genuinely make me smile so life is not all bad!
