>>For example, if I decide to trade, you need planet Rahu to be powerful in your birth chart.<<

In Vedic astrology Rahu is not an acutual planet but is more of a metaphor ( snake or dragon) used to explain what happens when the Moon's orbit crosses the Sun's orbit and gives us an eclipse. I suppose if you were born during an eclipse you might be favored by fate.... or not.

Here is a list of billionaires and their astrological signs. Do some research and lets us know what role Rahu played in their rise to fame and fortune.

Rahu (and Ketu if you have googled all this) are considered to be shadow planets. They're not actual, physical planets like others in our horoscopes, e.g. Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and so on. But, each of these do impact our lives in unique ways based on their placement in the birth chart and current situations, which is called 'Gochar'.

Vedic astrology is very, very deep and usually, there will be a bit of difference of opinion between different astrologers, but almost three fourth of analysis will be the same.

I will look into those billionaires.

And sorry for hijacking the thread which was meant to be based on lunar phases.

Speaking of which, back in the thread there was some explanation offered about the effect of the moon on tides and since humans are mostly water... draw you own conclusions.

So, since on any given day 80 - 90% of the stock trading volume on the NYSE is driven by algos... how exactly does the phase of the moon and its effect on tides influence this completely autonomous computerized HFT activity.

Now that is a very good question.

This is the Bradley barometer of 2022, referencing the book I previously reported on here:

If anyone has Tradestation code to calculate this back to 2010, I will gladly run backtests with it and see what happens.
