@shortski reported a serialisation issue with the latest set of attachments. I found the same issue so recompiled and rebuilt the binaries and it seems to have gone away. It appears some how that the link between the workspace/template/indicator go's wonky at times during indicator copies when I'm creating backups and restoring etc. and I'm none the wiser as to why it happens. However when I recopied my older backup file, reapplied the changes and recompiled then it disappeared and seems fine now. So if anyone downloaded last night and gets this issue, please redownload the attachments as I have updated them.
Also if someone could confirm for me the latest set is running ok that would be helpful.
was trying to capture a trade in a video. not an easy task for me. I was looking for some confirmation to go long around 1412.00 - 1412.50. at 1412.25 over 1200 contracts were traded on bid side without that price being offered.
went long at 1412.50, with a target of 8 ticks and stop of 3 ticks. I don't think that trade went more than 1 tick against me, although 1412.25 was offered at one time and 300 contracts were traded.
also this is a sim trade. don't feel very comfortable taking videos and trading.
Really fantastic video. like to see a mouse twitching like that on the price before entry, good stalking and attentive to the screen.
Good kick there off your entry, I always feel that is a good sign, the players on the right side quickly taking away the trade, the longer it tends to sit at the entry it is generally a bad sign, good trades are setup and then taken away quickly, straight away you are on the offensive with some cushion and some options. Then battle in the middle of the field, usually always have to be patient through the centre of the D and finally the touch down. I am not used to watching the ES book, it feels so slow to me because the granularity is lower. Half way through I could feel my foot now starting to tap, ready to bail out.. lol.. Bund is much swifter up and down the ladder.
Also a nice illustration of how the book can allow you to pinpoint in with tiny amount of risk and it was clear to see the basis for the trade and on what level you were expecting to be supported. 1 trade, 1 idea, 1 small amount of risk to support the idea.
Regards video, agree 100% do not video live trades on DOM, ideally DOM machine should have nothing else going on, otherwise you will get lag and won't even know it, good for Sim not for live. Found out myself when I wanted to record my trading for review libraries. difficult to find a solution for that issue but really a great demonstration, thanks for this.
