This has been a welcome update to NinjaTrader and it is exciting to see. Unfortunately porting NT8 desktop indicators to web version is extremely cost prohibitive as there has not been a Ninjatrader code transition team to make the library robust enough. Additionally there are no instructions on how to utilize what makes Ninjatrader great (indicator on indicator) or vendors in general. Hopefully in the future Ninjatrader will develop a "how to video" for converting desktop indicators to mobile.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I have noticed that this thread has gone quiet. Does that mean that the problems that people had with the new
version 8.0 have been largely resolved?
I ask because NT just posted a notice that you must upgrade by 6-23 in order to continue to use continuum data feed.
I am currently using version 8.0.26.1.

Are other people seeing this from this release? What is ninjatrader doing. Their whole platform is reliant on quality 3rd party development. The lizard indicators have become an essential part
of the platform for many many traders.
I used my laptop to test the 8.0.28 update patch only. Seems to be working fine, did not change anything at all.
I plan to avoid the 8.1** something updates as long as possible. The connectivity to the Continuum issues observed by others have not been observed with this minor update in my case. Hope it stays that way.
There are a few things that irritate me about NT 8, but I do like the new ability to use the web and the Android app to monitor trades.
I use ATMs to manage my trades, but those executions are not grouped together in reports as they were in NT7. I really want those ATM executions to be grouped together in the reports.
There used to be a report that showed the trades on a scatter chart with different variations that could be selected. That was a cool chart that was removed from NT8.
It doesn't seem that one can create or use a SIM account when in the trading live mode.
I would also like the ability to use more than one DEMO or SIM account so that I can test things in a different account without messing up the tracking of my main strategy practice in the primary DEMO account.
I use many different sim accounts with ver 8.0.26.1.
Do you mean that ver 8.1.1.6 does not allow that?!

What is wrong with the NT8 DOM? What are you missing there? If you actually like the Sierra Chart or Motivewave user experience, why bother with NT8? Personally I tried both Sierra and Motivewave several times and found the user experience to be the worst of any trading front end I have ever tried. Horrible and idiotic is one thought of mine about many platforms.... NT 7 and 8 is a cut above. Sure, NT8 has some issues, no doubt. And there is always room to improve. Still my top choice by a long mile.
I am on version 8.1.1.5. When I am in simulation mode, I do not see any way to create another demo/sim account. I will check Live Trading mode again later, but last time I checked, I did not see a way to create a demo/sim account.
