I'm posting this as an example of how these YouTube "traders" lie about their performance. I've watched this guy delete so many videos when he has a serious loss, but this one takes the cake. Two days prior he also lost around $3000, which would total over $18,000 in one week. The jpg below occurred last week - I just happened to catch it before he deleted it. This guy is probably the worst trader I've ever witnessed.
The lesson here is don't be a sucker. Research whomever you want to follow and make sure they're not like this guy.
The guy's channel is called Trades by Matt. [yt]https://www.youtube.com/c/TradesbyMatt[/yt]
I saw that too. I kindda felt sorry for the guy. To be honest, I don't understand how these people are actually making any money. YouTube ads? Kickbacks from the Topstep.com he pushes? Any ideas?
The excuse he gives for on-stream losers is that he does a lot better off-stream. Well, if that were the case, why doesn't he record his off-stream trading - simple thing to do?
He started out by quitting his day job and attempted to get funded with TST. That was about two years ago. He's in serious denial about his ability to trade. He's doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
After a huge loss, he goes back to micros, makes a few bucks, goes back to the mini contract and loses more.
He has a couple of paid followers (fewer as time goes on I think). He's no where near making any money on YouTube itself.
It's sad to see someone so deep in the hole, but he refuses to climb out.
Most YouTube streamers including myself are unlisting livestreams after they're complete. Then you put the videos in a playlist on the channel page so that people can still go back and watch if they want. It just doesn't get recommended or clutter up the main channel page. I think that's what you're seeing here rather than some attempt to hide losing days.
Come on, be easy on him. I like watching his channel. He is just building a community of like minded traders to hang out in the morning in his live stream. Why are you being such a hater??? At least he's putting himself out there and not selling you a bulls&%t course.

If that were the case, then a random number of videos would be archived in that way. However, it's only the days when he's losing that seem to mysteriously disappear. It's happened so many times that it's impossible to ignore.
