This looks like an issue with the query that fills the list box on the main page, next to the chat box, that shows recent posts. I looked at the posts marked, by ZZZTrader, and when I went into them, it looked like duplicate threads were created, since the posts are identical, and appear to be just duplicates.
But it turns out the two apparently different posts have the same url:
Can anybody guide to the link for Cumulative Delta for Ninja 8 ? Thank You!
Also, the query for posts in last 24 hours ("Today's Posts") under "Quick Links" only shows one post:
So the apparent duplication seems to be from something in the SQL query for that list box. Or perhaps a database issue that only affects that query (?).
Just FYI.

The "duplication" is a known cosmetic issue with the chatbox notifications, it happens when a thread is moved. In this case, the OP created it in the wrong section and I moved it -- and that triggered a second notification of a new thread in the chatbox. Hasn't been a high priority for me to fix.
WRT the Today's Posts query, it is working fine for me. I'm not sure I am understanding why you highlighted the particular thread you did in your screenshot example, please explain it to me a different way
The query will show all threads that have had posts made to it within the last day.
Thanks for the explanation. It just looked odd, without knowing the cause.
I only highlighted the entry in "Today's Posts" because it showed only one entry for the post I mentioned, unlike the chatbox notification, which showed two. The highlighted thread is the same "Cumulative Delta for Ninja 8" by ZZZTrader that showed up twice in the chatbox list. I was assuming that the Today's Post inquiry was the correct one, and I included it just to point out the difference.
Sorry to not be clear.
Bob.

Later today (Monday), our newsletter emails will begin featuring an automatic secure login feature.
This means when you click on links within the email, you'll be logged in securely and automatically, even on secondary devices like your phone, tablet, etc.
This has the added effect of ensuring you have easy access to all content you're authorized for (Elite} and won't receive confusing error messages as an Elite Member, just because you aren't logged in.
In addition, you'll more easily be able to respond/reply to threads, as you are already logged in. I often see 30-40% of clicks coming from "guest" (not logged in) members -- which this new secure login system addresses.
The auto login feature is good for 3 days (72 hours) after the link is created. After that, when it expires, the link itself will still work -- you just won't be automatically logged in.
If you are already logged in, you won't notice any change of behavior. If you aren't logged in, you'll see a message stating you are being logged in.
This is a rather sophisticated piece of code. I've tested it, but the first big test will be the next newsletter. Please report any issues.
This will significantly enhance the ease-of-use of our site. I'm excited to implement it.
I notice that when we click on an image to enlarge it, it is contained within the browser window even if we click to pop it out. In addition to this, the screen dims.
I checked in the user control panel area but didn't see a way to change this behaviour. The only reason I mention it is because there are certain situations where it would be helpful to either have the attachment open in a separate window or be movable outside of the existing browser window, such as while reading @Pa Dax's excellent journal where he describes his trades bar by bar while looking at the chart posted:
For the same reason, it would help to not have the main browser window dim while viewing the attachment instead of having to go back and forth, closing the attachment, reading more and then reopening it.
Hope this makes sense... it's not a deal breaker, but thought I would mention it.
