Yes, in my opinion Horst is taking more trades because of the ES and he is still finding his 'way' some as he hasn't really traded it much the last 5 years. Just my take on his # of trades. I watched him for 9 months take MAX 4-5 trades every day. Now on ES, I see him taking 10! He has got balls of steel and a much larger account to handle some of what he has been learning through which is great. I think I saw a 11K drawdown the other day and he freakin made it back just barely! Lucky him. I give up exhausted and crying in my beer.
Horst has really mastered his emotions! I am most impressed with him as his confidence is better than anyone else @ NFT.
I believe once you get to a certain level it is more about confidence in yourself. Something I still lack or need more practice with.
I am being overly cautious and I believe I will work it out, but all in due time. You are doing so much better I am impressed. Keep it up and soon you will be 3-4 points daily.
Horst balls of steel naahh.. I thought I had balls of steel.. LOL...
In the end of the day.. staying in green counts....
Trading Fear Money makes you lose your confidence.. try to trade fearless money & see.. if youve made back all your investment & are trading with their money... you have fearless money.... watch how your confidence will boost.. rite now you probably have the best setups but dont trade cause you are entering the mkt with fear of losing that is what makes you lose already.. you are an excellent trader & can do really well in any kind of mkt.... Horst is good but you could do better.. well wish you best of luck...
I didn't have a single winning day this week so far. This morning was pretty tough to read for me. It did move according my bias, but after I was done with my trades. Haha....
I wasn't patient again. I was a little off today and I couldn't see it (or the whole week ). I should learn a lot of lessons this week, but I'm not sure that I'm learning from my mistakes. I have to be patient like last week and take only higher probability trades.
So here are my trades and summary for today (I don't know what's going on with my markers, but it seems they are getting further and further from my entries):
Hahaa... I just saw that video. Yeah It does look like the best. And we are are screwed for sure.
I were close, but not close enough to make some $$$. Today was one of those days when price come back to retest the area before taking of. I think what I should do is wait till I'm ready to get in, but wait for another few minutes before pulling the triger.
I don't even want to think about 28 trades a day right now. Even if it doesn't count. I'm afraid it would mess me up again. It takes so much for me to stay away from overtrading so I don't wanna mess with it.
I even find useful to watch my video right after the session. It feels to me like I'm looking from a side and I can see a lot of mistakes. Maybe it's just because I already know what's gonna happen in the future.
About a screen setup I think I'll take MACD from 144 to the bottom to see more price action. I'm not sure yet.
Today I think my overall trading wasn't so bad. I was getting in a trades too late today. I was trying to make sure that I'm not early as usual. So getting in late didn't give me any room to move my stop. I think first and last trade could be BE+1 and that would give me some green at the end.
I hope I've learned some lessons and I'll make less mistakes next weeks.
One thing I noticed on your video charts and take them with a grain of salt:
1. White background strains the eyes. I have a hard time watching your video!
2. I would put a slight buffer on your MACD windows to be a little further 'left' of the window by a few pixels. I believe this will clean that MACDBB chart up so you can see it more clearly.
3. Lastly and most importantly, the one thing I didn't see you do today was trend lines or price action shapes. It hit some areas perfect and that can add some ammo to your entries.
