Good Luck! I have been bending their ears for ages! I think they understand the requirements now, getting them fulfilled is a different matter! Of course a lot of there recent additions are kind of moot without accurate processing of multiple data streams both live and historically.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I suggested custom bars where some easy language script could be attached to a data series that would allow user defined conditions to determine when a new bar would be started. They seemed quite receptive to that.
Do you think they'll push out a DOM in v6.5, or are we looking at v7.0?
I'm hearing unusual feedback on the release schedule, some of it doesn't add up. I was originally told July for v7.0 with a DOM, but that slipped obviously. I'm now trying to figure out a realistic date for the DOM, and it seems like they will do v6.5 before v7.0 if they hold the pattern, which means v7 wouldn't be released until after the new year. I'm fine using their betas, they have been quite stable, so I am thinking a beta with a DOM will be available before the end of this year.
I have deleted a few recent posts in this thread just now to conform with our no self-promotion policy. If you were wondering what happened to them, that answers that. -- Big Mike
and what a great release too. Very impressed with MultiCharts, the last couple of years has seen them become a heavyweight alternative to TradeStation. Good work Dennis & the TSSupport team, keep it up.
