Made a change to hide some of the additional options when posting a reply to a thread, by default. You can easily expand it.
You can also access the attachments option by using the paperclip icon from the toolbar in the message editor, if you previously used the Manage Attachments button.
This consolidates/saves space and makes it easier to view prior posts when you reply.
I looked and found over 99% of post replies don't contain a title. What ends up happening (often) is the poster uses the title as an introduction sentence to his post, but that results in portions of text missing when the same post is later quoted --- as well as a problem with our app, because the app doesn't display the titles at all.
It leads to confusion. So, I simplified and just removed it.
New threads still have it of course, it only affects replies to existing threads. Let me know if I've seriously pissed you off with this, but try to live with it
Sorry, I missed the post because of not reading before all of the video update posts.
However, lately I have been on the app on my tablet and I do not know how to view the changes. I should be on a browser this weekend and will check it then.
Tks
Hi
yeah today I was caught on the wrong foot! As I read last time this changelog thread 2 days ago.
I have no problem to eliminate the title - I can make a bold headline within the text. This one will be replicated in answers to the post which sometimes is quite helpful.
But to mention that this thing is not off the shelf: If I EDIT a written post then the "title" still comes up (nonsense of course) - just to let you know.
