@Raj1
I am getting ready to head up North for the long weekend, but a get together for the Toronto area traders is a good idea. I will PM you my email should you wish to organize something and follow up when I get back. Any one else can do the same,and if enough interest we could set up a separate forum on BM to discuss trading.
@ Raj1
The cross signal depends on the timeframe as is shown in the attached chart.
I use the cross of CCI 11 and the 100 or-100 level on the longer term chart, and EMA of CCI cross of the 0 line on the short term to confirm entry. You can use any combination depending how many signals you wish to deal with.You have to be comfortable with the system.
For Euro, signals work best after the release of economic news at 830 EST till 11.00. For ES after the open till 11.30.
Also use Uni Renko or ticks, as time based charts do not give clear signals.
I use BloodHound to paint the lines on the price bars but not needed, or some of the great coders on BM could code that into the indicator. The average lines are Fat Tails Trigger Lines indicator.
Hello all, I am new here and thank you all for the information on trading.
Does anyone have issue that when market move very fast, say at news time. the unirenko bar freeze when price keep moving and it take couple minuites for it to print again and catch up.
No, I haven't seen that anymore with uniRenko than with any other bar/chart. Chart freezing is usually a function of an overloaded processor (too many charts or too many indicators or too many indicators set to cobc=false) or an undersized data pipeline (your internet, ISP or hopefully you are not using wireless).
If you are trying to trade a news event, the best bet is to reduce to one chart with few indicators. If your concern is the amount of time it takes for your charts to recover then you need to look at the things I mentioned above and see where the real limitation resides.
hope this helps.

I am not a Elite member yet and I am using the Unirenko I downlorded from Ninja Trader's website. Could that be the reason that it may not be the latest version? Are you using the latest version from Big Mike's? I only have 2 charts open and with 4 indicators each and it's a new computer.
I also used that first version which was loaded up here and in NinjaTrader's forum, and i had no issues during news trades. For me the issues showed up in market replay. Yes, I am using the latest version as it solved the market replay problem for me. Some folks reported a memory leak issue so perhaps that could be the problem?
Your charts/indicators sound like a non issue. How is your internet in terms of speed? If that is fine then perhaps you have at least 1 reason to become an elite member.

I am using DSL from Qwest. it's 15 mgb download and only 1 mgb upload. I might just sign up for Elite member this weekend, hope that will fix the problem. Thank you Tasker and Cory too,
@VictorK:
Thanks for your input.
In CCI_EMA_v2 , what are set values you use for CCI & EMA? I see a default values of 14 & 13 in the indicator.
I also use trigger lines indicator similar to yours but not the larger period dotted lines( dark red & dark green lines) as shown in your chart. Can you send the link for this indicator with set parameters.
By the way I use the same trigger line and larger trigger lines with setting values 3 times more than smaller trigger lines for bigger picture view of the price action.
