I also miss the table of contents in post #2 for this thread that used to contain the links to the data for each month. It would be very helpful if this pots could be restored by @admin ? :wavey: :wavey: :help:
seems to have been deleted, but it contained the file definitions etc.
Could you take a look if it's possible to restore it or c&p its contents from an archived version?
I've been coding a new chatbox from the ground up. I have the framework done and it works. Now, I need features on top. I plan to implement the basic features from our current chatbox today, but then diverge strongly with the new chatbox.
I want to include support for drag-n-drop or ctrl-v paste images. They will be displayed in a separate column and as thumbnails.
Other than screenshots, what other missing features would you like to see with our chatbox? I know things like are popular these days, but my job as community admin is to keep people here and not direct them to other solutions. What do we need to implement in our new chatbox so that you don't need a group?
Timestamps will be a must, and improved significantly over current. Smilies will be there, plus native support for regular emoji's (ie: WindowsKey + . aka period).
if possible to highlight and save certain conversations would be great. I sometimes find my self going back and looking through old chats to find useful information about something that was talked about. Something similar to a "star" system that gmail has so you can save/favorite important emails. Other then that sounds like you've got everything covered.
