I am new here and just became a elite member. I am trying to learn more about market profile & order flow but the webinars on the forum doesn't seem to load.
I have been converting them from old flash format to new HTML5 format. Have had some server issues the last week consuming all my time, but as soon as it settles down I will resume converting. I'll reply to you as I get them done.
There are hundreds of other webinars that are working already, it's only the oldest ones that are not (some).
Ever since all the random weirdness started happening last week, I've basically had nearly no sleep each night... I have migrated everything to new servers and narrowed down the issue, but it has been a VERY bumpy road.
This is why there have been so many issues in the last few days accessing the site. I am very sorry about that, I try to minimize it but some of it is just completely out of my control due to me having to problem solve on the spot when facing unexpected problems.
Anyway, as always, I try to learn from history and believe I have improved upon the deployment of our site with the new infrastructure. I am now using Docker containers for each of the services, to be able to better containerize/compartmentalize each of them so they can have redundancy as well as easy restart capability without affecting the site.
My goal was just to get us back to a stable site. I still plan to look forward on the infrastructure, which would have us deploy the services with Kubernetes via GCP, instead of using Docker containers within our private VM machine. We're 90% of the way there, but I was focused on speed of returning the site to stability. Will revisit this soon.
This morning one of the last (I hope) things that I noticed was broken were new marketing images I upload through a special script. When I tried to fix it, I accidentally deleted the wrong group of files! It brought down the whole site. So, I had to spin up a backup server and then restore the deleted files from it, so the site was spitting out "File not found" errors for about 10-15 minutes while I was scrambling for that.
Anyway, we do have a good backup plan in place at least.
Now that we are stable, I hope, I will get some rest and then resume working on the site upgrades like I was prior to last week. I also realize a lot of people are waiting on updated webinars, so that is on my list.
take a couple days off. No one here is relying on the website for their livelihood. It's up and running now, so take that moment to catch a breather. You can still crank it up afterwards.
I could have something blocking it on my web browser but this was working like a week ago. I didn't know if anyone else had noticed? Or are the magnifying class zoom icon in the indicator download working for other folks?
, this post was originally made by in a new thread to report an issue where the magnifying glass button to enlarge the thumbnails in the Download section did not work. I checked it and replicated the issue. It just opens up a blank page in my browser, so I copied his post to the changelog to raise its visibility.
Unfortunately, when his post copied over, the post title was changed from his original thread heading of "The preview pictures for indicators not working for me" to a generic title of this thread, so I'm afraid it wasn't clear what his issue is. But this is what it is.
