ok, I finally have a few minutes to sit and write...
Rithmic has updated their SSL security certificates, and that in effect has caused SOME of the users to experience login issues. Since the majority of our customers uses NinjaTrader, this is when i first heard of the issue and have resolved it with the teams at Rithmic and NinaTrader.
This has unfortunately affected other platforms, and quite frankly I did not know that it would affect other platforms (such as MC, Trave Navigator, etc) at the time I fixed that with the NinjaTrader team. This is the first that I hear about the feed's SSL certificates expiring on a feed.
Now, I also run in my office NinjaTrader,MC and others and NONE has been affected.
Therefore, when the Rithmic issue occurred I could not see that coming as none of my platforms have been affected.
Further investigation led me the fact that Rithmic did email the different platform parties of these changes, and they knew that these changes would take place. I was not informed, otherwise I would have made the necessary steps to inform everyone. I am not in the blame game, rather I will try and coordinate with the different parties if such occurrences were to happen in the future.
I did receive customers from futures.io (formerly BMT), therefore I feel obligated to come and give support here.
In fact, I think I am the only broker that comes here and try to support, give pragmatic insight, and help in the same spirit and culture of futures.io (formerly BMT). However, that does not mean I have to endure the comments of us or our partners as "unprofessional" "even a 5 year old..." "bloody Bizarre"....(as you can read on this thread).
If your goal is to impress others here with your issues, that is fine, but please keep in mind that I am here to help and offer practical solutions to tech issues, and I will not respond to any one who is deviating from that.
We at Optimus always want to get new customers, BUT it is just as equally important for us to maintain what we have and support in any way we can. Markets are hard enough, let's help one another in a good spirit and remember that all parties involved when malfunctions happen only seek to help and resolve things ASAP.
Rithmic, NinjaTrader, etc have been nothing but great during this time and dealt with EVERY customer
Good night and remember ...I do listen and react to your suggestions.

Thanks. The suggestion I hope you listen and react to is getting Rithmic to put up a network status page. I recall you watching a basketball game with the owner of Rithmic in Chicago a year or so ago - perhaps you can bend his ear and let him know that having a network status page should be high on their "things to do" list. That page should also list all scheduled maintenance times as well. Since there are multiple variables involved (our own hardware, router, firewall, our isp and their infrastructure, our trading platform and their infrastructure, our data providers, etc. etc.) it helps to be able to rule out as many potential culprits as possible - as quickly as possible. Again, thanks.
Good Memory @timefreedom
realistically, I would do it before they would....maybe add that to our site.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I use MultiCharts with Optimus Futures and I have the latest version of MC. (There was a previously mentioned problem with getting data from Rithmic because of expired certificates with non-updated MultiCharts versions.)
Today, I cannot get current data for ES, GC, 6E, 6B. CL is OK. But the other 4 will not give current data.
I have tried the Settings of 'Default', '24 hours' and '24/7'. Sometimes the data will refresh to the latest time -- other times not. I have also used each of those Settings and done a 'Reload all data'. Sometimes it renews the data to the current time -- other times not. But the main thing is that I receive NO data once the Settings or Reloads are completed.
I just don't understand it. Is it me or Rithmic? Things worked pretty well until this morning. Then all day I've had this problem. Is anyone else having the same problem?
The problem was me. Alex of MC worked on things for awhile, then closed MC and re-opened it. All worked fine then. This hasn't happened before to me, but in the future now I'll close the program every couple of days and then reload.
I usually use minutes chart to trade ES, last couple days, I tried tick chart, NT7 platform, Rithmic data feed, many bars will change after reload historical data, including high/low and bar shape, anyone else has this issue? And what is your solution?
Manualtrader, paulg is correct. This is likely because when you reload historical data it will request it from NinjaTrader's servers. This can mean small discrepancies between your real-time data and what will backfill as historical data after the reload since tick charts can vary a little bit.
One thing you can do is save your real-time data as historical. This can be done by the following steps:
Go to Control Center>Tools>Options>Data Tab
Click on the checkbox for 'Save chart data as historical'
Click 'OK'
However, I believe in some cases, depending on how much data you're requesting, it can still reload it from the server. I would recommend trying either and see what seems to work best for you.
