I was encouraged to sign up here by my trading mentor. He spoke very highly of this forum, and I am excited to become a part of the community. With your help, I look forward to learning as much as I can, and I look forward to giving back once I hone my skills.
I am a 26 year old former professional poker player. I opted to go back to my normal day job in finance after the major internet sites closed down to U.S. players last year. My job is good, but I miss the feeling of success that comes from using my talents, discipline, and judgement to succeed where most others fail. I also miss the security that comes from knowing I am an expert at something that nobody can take away from me - to know that I'll always be OK regardless of what happens in my professional career.
I am a hard worker with a background and track record of success when it comes to matters of emotional discipline and money management, and am eager to learn as much as I can about this trading thing.
All the best,
Rob

Hi Big Mike and all,

I'm excited to lean on the wisdom of those more experienced in the trade. I'm 23 years old, finishing my BS in finance, getting married next month, and planning to start trading full time at the end of May. I fell in love with the markets at age 18. I bought puts and calls on equities, quadrupling my account within four months (and managed to destroy most of it soon after!). I spent a few months last year blowing up the better part of a small futures account, but am prepared to do things correctly this time around. Again, I'm excited to be able to be a part of this online community and am excited for the journey ahead. I have every bit of confidence this will be a successful venture in my life, but am being careful to not underestimate the challenges that probably lie ahead. I probably got into this five years ago with the idea of making quick money. Now I'm here to beat the game and provide for my soon-to-be family by doing so!
Hi Guys, this the first time I subscribed to a forum. I am a very average trader and I am trying to improve my trading results. I am 25 years old living in Kuwait with an average account mostly around break even and business management diploma graduate.
I trade NQ, TF, CL, YM and 6E. Major instruments I trade are NQ and TF. I hope I and other members on the forum can benefit from this forum and share idea. I hope I can be consistently profitable with trading NQ Futures so I can start paying bills with confidence myself. Happy Trading all!
I started trading for a company in 2000 and was only 1 out of 5 traders that made money. I quit my job and started an educational process of what I call "the money game". I took coaching in trading Commodities, Real Estate, business and psychology. I had to re-define "my world"; it was different than I thought. I trade Futures and I love what I do. It has brought me everything I wanted.
I started to learn trading in 2010 with moderate success. I developed my own system but unfortunately there is a big psychological gap between results I have on paper and live trading. Currently I concentrate on trading psychology and in spare time I develop automated trading system. I hope that information from futures.io (formerly BMT) will help me with my effort.
Thanks for setting up this forum it is a rel help. I have lost lots of money over the past few year in so many different instrument with it all coming down to risk managment and lack of knowledge. This forum is great as it will help improve knowledge with all the generous people contributing.

Hello fellow traders! I am a novice trader who has not gone live yet. I feel grateful to have found my way to this vibrant positive forum and thank you all for making it what it is. I cant wait to learn new lessons on how to be successful in the trading world. Blessings to you all. B
I'm originally from England, but now reside in Canada as my wife's career brought us here.
I still trade the European exchanges, specifically Dax Futures. Would like to expand into the US markets eventually. Totally different rhythm to learn! I hope to get some of that education from some of these threads.
