Thinking of a slightly new direction. All the charts are created with those two oscillators that are very similiar. Difference is one counts swings and has a smoothing factor. The other does not, but they are built almost identically.
What I am thinking is combining these two into their own indicator, then I'd have access to everything right there, and I can reference everything directly.
Ugh.
Edit-----
Looks like my indicator, nor the original for that matter will not compile, even though the original still works.
"That type of namespace name 'List' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) - CS0246
Missing a dll. Right-click and adding reference, the one called, "NInjatrader.vendor" does not seem to fix this?
So I have delved into ninja farther than I ever thought. I managed to add custom gauges and graphs ect. So now i wanted to share it with a friend for testing and i realized it was quite the process to do. There are dll's etc that have to be installed …
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Ok got it! Looks like I didn't have the proper directive at the top of my code. It is compiling now.
Note: If anyone installed that indicator set for the original at the top, that wasn't the latest one. I will update that post in a minute. I unistalled my original ninja installation, and have to go grab the back up off my server.
So I will replace that post when I attached the indicator in a few.
Thanks for asking. I can't think of anything that I need specifically.
I guess if you have an opportunity, can you take a look at the two scripts that will be in your indicator folder after you import the package I posted. The two original that matter are called "ERG_Str1" and "ERG_Trade."
Initially my idea was to try and create a brand new indicator, and just reference the parts of those two indicators listed above to plot the things I wanted. Everything I want to do is based on the Y position of those oscilators and the colors they produce. But then I realized I could not reference the color of those oscillators, you would have to reference exactly how those colors occur, which I think might get a bit complicated.
So, then I figured I'd just create ONE indicator containing all the logic of those two indicators via copying and pasting, and duplicating/renaming what I need. Then I could reference everything directly.
If you could take a look at those indicators, and let me know if my plan makes any sense at all?
I have all the logic for one indicator in my script(ERG_Trade), I am now working on getting the 2nd indicator(ERG_Str1) to work along side it in the same file.
