I have tried everything the NT guys have told me to do. They do not support 3rd party indicators.
I have tried to compile/import indicators from futures.io (formerly BMT) over from 6.5. Mostly I get errors. So trying to delete the indicators brings up another problem.
I get another error message that says the indie I am trying to delete has dependencies from other indies/strategie and cannot be deleted.
At this point, i am about done with NT7 although it looks like it offers some really nice features to make my life easier.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

stay away from NT 7 if you trade live and you are no good coder / IT-guy -- thats my thought about it at the moment.
it will get better one day + ready for all of us - but it isnt for now.
if you play + code + sim-trade --> NT7 - why not - its fun maybe.
if you trade live + seriously -- stay with NT6.5 till NT7 is out of beta !
Or if you trade live + are fed up with NT, use MultiCharts for charting I've found that NT can be stable when all you load is a DOM, and only a DOM, period! It still crashes on startup, but once it loads the DOM doesn't seem to crash. I'll be using this until MC 7 comes out with its own DOM.
Edit: In NT's defense, support has tried to work with me to solve my crash on startup problems. But after a while I stopped spending time on it.
Sure converting the indicators over is a pain but it isn't that difficult!
Personally NT7 is way more stable and smoother than 6.5 and faster.
My one gripe is that 7 has been in beta like for ever - its almost as if it's a couple of guys in a bedsit tapping out the code after their day jobs!
And their support is of no use to a newbie programmer - really it's absolutely useless as they assume a vast amount of prior knowledge. I learnt NS over the last year DESPITE support rather than because of it.
Once you get to a certain level their ok but nearly everything now is "this is not supported".
You are not the only one. I really like NT7 over anything else I have used: TradeStation JTrader, I could go on and on.
Hope to have an NT7 section of downloads setup in the next few weeks & a thread to help with moving from 6.5 to 7 as it should be an official release sometime over the summer.

Can anyone help with this one? it is RHeikenAshi.. and the compile errors in NT7 show as lines 62 and 243.. each having to do with ChartStyle.pen.. or something... I know zip about code and don't know if fixing those two lines might pop up other new error lines.. but hopefully that one tweak in those two areas is all it should take?
I appreciate anyone's assistance. Below is the indicator in question...

This has to do with a change that I believe was just made in Beta 15. See the release notes for an explanation.
Yes, guys.. I had read that earlier.. but while the fix may be painfully obvious to someone who has coding knowledge and experience, it is all Greek to me (hmm.. is that politically incorrect these days?) Anyway.. silly me.. I still have not the foggiest idea how to fix the indicator.
