I just tried MultiCharts on Ubuntu 11.4 and latest beta of wine and it still doesn't work. I might put some work into this and see if I can make it work. I really prefer linux to windoze
Any of you guys running Ubuntu with four monitors? If so, can you share your setup info (video cards) and Ubuntu version, and let me know if you have any issues with it.

NinjaTrader 7 requires .net35. Wine does not have a very stable or good version of .net35 yet....once it does I am going to pursue getting NT7 running under Ubuntu just like SC, although without as much passion since I can trade on SC and I find it to be as good as, if not better, than NT.
My focus is on:
1. Avoid the opening chop.
2. Honor stops
3. Ensure reward > risk on all trades
Its probably never going to happen besides running Windows and NT within a virtual machine. NT v7 requires .NET v3 and NT v8 will require .NET v4.
You could either run a full screen virtual machine in a dedicated virtual desktop or physical display or use VMware's seamless app integration feature (hides the Windows desktop) and run the app "along side" Linux applications.
