Really cool improvements I can't wait for NT8! Thanks Mike for all you hard work and putting all these great webinars together this month!
And the prizes are SO not rigged, you just have to be smart about it and prepared. I took notes but didnt have a prepared answer, next time I'm gonna up my game but I'm thrilled about scoring the quarterly license!
Please stop these accusations guys..i tried to get prizes too..but not every one can get it ..so please take the good spirit of these seminars and try to learn and understand to do better trades which makes more money for you. we shouldnt spend much time on these silly things. Keep watch seminars and answer the questions and you will have fair chances to win. Just few thoughts.. not to make anyone angry. Mike... you are doing a fantastic Job and please keep doing it. I learned alot from here ..thanks
Just done watching the recorded video from the NT8 Webinar, nothing more really added from this 3rd one that wasn't
said in the two previous ones.
I was excited about the NT Mobile preview until I watch the video..... what is the point of building another application that will only be a remote to your desktop.
1) there is all ready plenty of those out there free ones as well as payable
ones.
2) NT actually as the nerves to think they may charge a small ($10) fee for this... you got to be kidding.....
3) the all Idea behind a mobile app is to be able to get to your platform or at least live position in case your Internet or power would go down and save you in the process.....Most trading platform provide those mobile apps now even
MT4.... WHAT IS WRONG with Ninja Trader...?????.....as they say can't make a race horse out of a mule......
Are you sure you actually watched the right webinar? Yes of course I am kidding, but your statement of "nothing more really added" is really odd seeing how they showed off NT Mobile for the first time, the Order Ticket for the first time, and the new SuperDOM for the first time.
As for you not liking the NT Mobile app, well one thing I can pretty much guarantee you - with the really poor attitude you've expressed in your post, your arguments probably aren't going to be given much consideration. At least, if I was Ray, I wouldn't.
Naturally, you do have a choice. You aren't forced to use NT Mobile. And you also aren't forced to use NT at all. You could keep using MT4 if it works better for you.
"Most trading platforms provide" <an application that lets you exit your trade, without relying on your platform itself being online or functioning>. Can you name these platforms? To my knowledge TradeStation does not, MultiCharts does not, Sierra Chart does not, MarketDelta does not, Investor/RT does not, eSignal does not, Ensign does not.
I think you are confusing platform with broker. If you are primarily a spot forex trader, then the broker you are using might have an app to monitor your position or provide charts. If that broker is compatible with NinjaTrader, then you could still use that broker's app for that functionality. I can think of a few that do this: FXCM, Interactive Brokers, Mirus Futures. There are no doubt others.
Hummmmm, seams its not OK to speak your mind on this forum, Yes you are possibly right, must have not watch the right webinar or I should have found it interesting and refreshing.......
Thank you for allowing me to not use an app (NTMobile) that does not exist in the first place.
You are getting a bit ahead of yourself as I never mentioned I was using MT4 as a trading platform but do use their
Mobile app to keep an eye on the direction of the Instruments I may have a position in,when on the go .....since nothing else is available.......
Not sure about the other platforms you mentioned but I am pretty sure Tradestation does have a Mobile app running with all fonctions, as I have used it in the past.
Not sure again where you get the Idea that I am a Forex trader, but if you look at my profile you will notice that I trade Futures, GC and CL mostly.
And last don't know why this would be of any importance for this discussion but FYI yes I hold a lifetime license with Ninja Trader.
