I voted over $250. I pay for three VPS(s), Ninja lease, IQFeed data for backtest database. That doesn't include any office hardware expenses that I wouldn't have bought were it not for trading.

NinjaTrader LifeM/ship Ninjabroker, Continnium Data Feed, this a new setup, previously CQG(Charts) TT(frontend), facilitated office £2500 all in, pretty standard costs in UK, this set up was all about getting to market first, can not compete with the speed of co lo servers.

I use Interactive Brokers TWS as my trading platform so Nil costs. The live data feeds cost about $80.
I recently took a yearly subscription on commodity seasonality with Larry Williams "ireallytrade" that costs about $30 per month. I have only just started trading this so am not sure how I will go, but the level of initial cost per trade on these commodities is fairly high so I have only been trading 1 contract, or have traded options but the cost each is $2500 to $4500.
I keep considering various subscriptions including Back To The Future software, and just now Chuck Hughes Life Time Income Lite for $997 for 6 months, but am resisting as I have not done well out of such subs in the past and my beautiful wife says no more!
My most successful trading is option spreads done through Halifax Brokers and their Trade Me system whereby they email me when they have identified a new trade so I open the Trade Me App and they have a detailed description of the trade, the cost, the likely risk including an exit strategy and profit target; and i if I like the recommendation I simple nominate the number of contracts I want to trade, sign to trade and they manage the whole trade giving daily progressive reports. The total brokerage cost is about $60 for the two trades (in and out). They use TWS for their trading platform for the USA trades.
