a nice view at 2679 meters (8789 feet) over the Mannheimer Hütte in the Austrian Alps. The picture is from a weekend trip my wife and I made in 2014. It was really nice, we had walked over the Brandner Glacier.
Not quite as dramatic as El Capitan but I'm going to hike this little volcano near Medellin this Sunday. Nothing by Andes standards but small steps back to fitness..
Literally a blast from the past I just remembered my aunt ringing our house to say she was ok. She was a nun living ~20 miles away. I answered the phone and it was the first time I heard her voice.
