Okay, I went and selected ES from the instrument list the next time I opened the historical data window, and when ES 06-17 opened I downloaded the market data again.. and then when I connected to playback, I got the same message. "You do not have any replay data to play."
If you go in market replay what period did you choose to replay
it is always a good idea to download a day before than the day
you want to start replaying (because of time zone offsets)
If you go to tools historical data manager, can you see the data
is there ?
I downloaded the market data, went to tools>historical data>market data, and I found what I had just downloaded.. I then connected to playback, clicked play, opened the chart, and added the strategy...
I am so confused.. I just went back to historical data>load>download to get 3/11/17, and then I went to check if it downloaded, and it's not there. I was able to download 3/12/17 somehow, I don't know why 3/11 won't download.
2. you will see the chart, when you actually launch the replayer
and click play forward, the player allows you to accelerate it
then the chart will move and your strategy will be executed
in order to have your averages calculate, you need best few
days of replay date before your point of replay
