A long time ago I came across a saying by a trader. I don't know his
name. I think it was from an interview in Stocks and Commodities Magazine.
"Once you know, and you know that you know, confidence replaces fear."

Below are just some of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition:
1 Once you have their money, you never give it back.
9 Opportunity plus instinct equals profit.
13 Anything worth doing is worth doing for money.
19 Satisfaction is not guaranteed.
22 A wise man can hear profit in the wind.
23 Nothing is more important than your health ... except for your money.
41 Profit is its own reward.
44 Never confuse wisdom with luck. (my personal favorite rule , S.S.)
58 There is no substitute for success.
59 Free advice is seldom cheap.
62 The riskier the road, the greater the profit.
74 Knowledge equals profit.
97 Enough ... is never enough.
190 Hear all, trust nothing.
162 Even in the worst of times someone turns a profit.

Hi Mike ( ie. owner) I have a question or two regarding your trading of the CL
as you described in one of the VIMEO videos. I don't know
where I should post on that. It doesn't seem I should start
a new thread.
More trading one liners. Like, lots more. They require modification
generally. 'Gambling' changes to 'trading'. 'Casino' or 'house' changes to 'market'. etc. etc. etc.
I have posted some below.

"Gambling: The sure way of getting nothing from something."-Wilson Mizne
"Remember this: The house doesn't beat the player. It just gives him the opportunity to beat himself." -Nicholas (Nick the Greek) Dandalos
"Gambling is the future on the internet. You can only look at so many dirty pictures." -Simon Noble, an Austrian-based internet bookmaker
"When we put 50 machines in, I consider them 50 more mousetraps. You have to have a mousetrap to catch a mouse." -Bob Stupak, former Las Vegas casino owner (a 'mousetrap' is a new 'financial instrument', S.S.)
"Suckers have no business with money anyway." -Canada Bill Jones, Legendary Three-card Monte Dealer
I hope to break even this week. I need the money. -Veteran Las Vegas Player
"I've learned the lesson that the worst thing that can happen to a gambler is to let his recent losses or wins knock him off keel emotionally." -Andrew Beyer
"The majority of casino players leave to much to chance when playing in a casino. To put it bluntly, they don't have a clue as to how to play." -Henry Tamburin, gambling author
"A dollar won is twice as sweet as a dollar earned." -Paul Newman, The Color of Money
"When a gambler picks up a pack of cards or a pair of dice, he feels as though he has reduced an unmanageable world to a finite, visible and comprehensive size." -Annabel Davis-Goff, The Literary Companion to Gambling
"If you ain't just a little scared when you enter a casino, you are either very rich or you haven't studied the games enough." VP Pappy
"Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy." -Dr. G
"No wife can endure a gambling husband unless he is a steady winner." -Lord Dewar Something to moan out between grinding teeth after this political season.

"Son, we are sorry about the tuition funds...your mother and I did not know you are not supposed to split tens..." -Letters home from people visiting Reno. (Who doesn't know you're not supposed to split tens?! S.S.)
"I believe the very best money is made at the market turns. Everyone says you get killed trying to pick tops and bottoms and you make all your money by playing the trend in the middle. Well for twelve years I have been missing the meat in the middle but I have made a lot of money at tops and bottoms." - Paul Tudor Jones.
From the iCarly theme song (hee hee)
