I am back! After being away for a bit, I am back on Futures.io after further refining my trading through some formal education and, of course, the ongoing school of hard knocks. LOL. FIO is great, and I am happy to …

Hello all! I'm not sure an introduction is necessary but I'm starting a new journal in the elite section after journaling, non-elite, for about 6 months now. I chronicled my shenanigans here: Salao's Journal--Skiff on the Gulf Stream (. A …

I'm taking up the April Journal Challenge. My primary aim is to figure out a sustainable format and pace at which I can put my daily recaps into writing. I'm already keeping a journal and a research log, but I'm not entirely happy with their …

Heya all. I wanna start writing this small journey of mine, because it might be helpful for me and hopefully for you, but more importantly, because it might be fun to write and to read.

I trade primarily NQ. My strategy involves a combination of order flow, trendlines/levels and technical indicators, looking for a confluence at key inflection points across multiple time frames. I use Sierra Chart. Indicators I use are Bollinger …

Will use this as a personal Journal as an attempt to become disciplined in doing this. As a beginner trader, theres a lot to pay attention to, thus, sometimes I forget to journal my trades.

Bear with me on my ramble/ introduction to this great community. Begrudgingly Id be classified as part of the covid trader class for essentially starting in March. Luckily I was able to dedicate 100% of my time predominantly in sponge mode while attempting …

Good evening to all traders and the futures.io community.
I too have finally decided to start my trading journal and share it with you.
I hope that my operations and my approach to the markets can be of help to someone, and can also help me in the process …
Thank you to everyone who participated! I will DM the winners in a moment...
And thanks to everyone who voted for my journal (and all the journals).
And thanks to Big Mike of Futures.io, and Peter Davies & Jigsaw for the competition, which added an element of fun. And it made me really want to provide something of value in my writing -- in the journal I was considering rebooting anyway...
Journaling has been really good for me, and I encourage everyone to try it. Not only would journaling help you to organize and implement your trading plan, but some astute and friendly readers may actually have some epiphany-level feedback for you. The more open you are, the better feedback you will get, and the more passive readers can benefit too.
Additionally, as you have successes and failures, writing about them can help you reinforce the good and be more objective on the bad.
@Big Mike Thanks! What an awesome prize! I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have my FIO journal!! Probably homeless...just kidding! . My FIO journal has been the keystone to my development as a trader. It has also given me the opportunity to connect and share ideas with a bunch of great guys. Personally, trading in isolation would have stunted my growth a massive amount. I appreciate all those who Thanked my posts throughout the contest. And more importantly I would like to Thank-back all those who have provided words of wisdom, technical aptitude, a sympathetic ear, a clever one-liner, and all of the camaraderie during the past 2+ years of FIO journaling. Y'all know who you are (I don't want to mistakenly leave anyone out )!
