This is a good anti-virus package as it still recognizes malicious code even after it has been obfuscated. I tested this against 25 other packages and it really outperforms. They have some great developers at Micro$hit.
Recently, I decided to ditch Windows completely and move over to Ubuntu 10.04. This linux platform is rock solid, naturally secure and extremely fast. It takes some getting used to, but I won't be returning to Windows anytime soon.
I think Avast, Avira, & AVG are all fine for free anti-virus. Nod32 is the best if you want to pay for it every year. I personally don't think it's worth the extra $, I have it on my main desktop but all others including family and notebook I use AVG free version.

One sandbox for NinjaTrader, one for TWS, one for Amibroker, one for OptionsOracle, one for uTorrent (hehe); Sandboxie container folders are on D:\ drive so just take backup of those folders and you are all set.
Machine runs basic Windows XP + MS Office + Java + .NET framework & utilities like Notapad++, WinRAR, PowerDVD etc on C:\ which is protected by GHOST & TrueImage. I refresh them every 2-3 months.
