I just tried to create a ELD from the ORB code posted by DOUGN, when I tried to compile the code it returned 3 error message
I would appreciate any help in correcting this error
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

Thanks very much for your quick response the code I tried to compile was the exact code you posted in #7, I am trying to compile it in TradeStation 9.
Do you know if this is the same code from George Bysshe book, Trading the 10'Clock Bulls or is it based on the patterns from Tony Crabel book Open Range Breakout
thanks
this code should compile fine in Tradestation 9.1. I am attaching it as ELD to this post.
I don't know the George Bysshe book, but from the code I can say it's not the Toby Crabel logic. If I recall correctly Crabel used a "stretch" in his Open Range Breakout and this code doesn't have that.

Thanks very much for your time and effort in posting the ELD, I was able to import it successfully but the only thing that appears on my chart is a white vertical line and a small square box, please verify if this is correct and I really appreciate your help. The George Bysshe ORB code that I referred to was programmed as a project by a group of university students https://www.wpi.edu/Pubs/E-project/Available/E-project-042910-142422/unrestricted/Veselin_Iliev_IQP.pdf
and yes you are correct, Tony Crabel ORB method employs a stretch value above the opening range where he enters a Buy or Sell trade. Do you know if anyone has programmed any of the patterns from Tony Crabel book any recommendation would be appreciated

Thanks for posting that chart, I am not able to duplicate your chart even with Daily bars, I basically just get those same vertical lines, do I have to do anything special to set yp my chart or is there any special settings to adjust on the inputs
