Wow, some misfortune on the first 2 entries! Strange movements to me. You were thinking short I see! I was thinking LONG, but couldn't find the entry before I gave up.
Entries I think were interesting today! Long long long bars.
Good trading and to me capital preservation is not a bad way to trade as long as you can also get the big runs (which is where I am lacking).
Sometimes to me, trading isn't about making money, but keeping money when the moons are not aligning for you.
I'm not sure about two ticks. I think one tick is enough. I set hot keys also: Ctrl+B for Buy Bid and Ctrl+S for Sell Ask. I'm gonna try it tomorrow. This way I don't have to open my chart trader every time.
@bugsbunny Thanks for your support & here is information about the clock if you are really interested
I used to do hotkeys until I had some trades screw up on me with ATC Brokers, so I stopped doing it. Too easy to click the button and then not be certain it was clicked so I couldn't track it.
I hit the button, nothing. Hit it again, nothing. Hit it a 3rd time, then all 3 orders went in at once. I was in with something like 18 contract (LIVE) and I went into panic mode. haha.... Nothing to do with hotkeys, but realized that I like recording my click for the broker on my screen! That is why I like to record my screens. I will probably record my other screen also with my logs as I had so many issues with ATC Brokers a while back that it saved me from quite a bit of drama.
The sad thing is, I got out of all them with a close market and lost 1-2 ticks on each contract. It then went straight up for 7 points without a retrace. hahah... You have to laugh!
That's a good point. I've never used it on live account. It might be better now after all updates since you stopped trading live. I think I'm not gonna take my chances and keep using chart trader.
I can imagine how not funny that was for you watching it go after your stop hit.
Oh, that wasn't NT! Sorry, I wasn't clear on that!
That was ATC trader which was similar to Sierra charts or built off of Sierra Charts I believe. Sorry.
You should try it if you like. As long as you have your chart trader on and it shows up on your screen then you should be good! It was just a comical issue that I had about 1.5 years ago!
