Thanks Bob, I have sent log and trace files into them their first response was to check my clock lol... I am running my NT7 environment on another system using the same data source and I am not seeing any issues. Ninja support had me reset my instruments etc but that did nothing. Now that I have rebooted the problem is gone but I am sure it will be back tomorrow AM and I can send them some screen shots.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
just don't use NT8 and move on to something better because if it has taken this long for their dev team, it means they don't know what they are doing. and in the financial industry, this is unacceptable as money is on the line. use your dollars to reward an IT team that deserves it. Jigsaw daytradr or Bookmap are good options, and for classical charting you can purchase a subscription to tradingview.com that lists every possible and imaginable security under the sun and actually effing works.
NT8 effing works for me. Had its teething problems to start with but now works to suit my needs. I don't use 3rd party indicators, just price action and volume. Any support that was needed was quickly attended to, either by email or remote assistance.
Hi Hurleydood... I am not sure that this is your problem or not. It could be rogue indicators or database is too large or something else. I made a little write up and have two bat files in this cloud space... see if this helps you... it has helped a lot of other traders. I would suggest that you make a backup of your MyDocuments NT8 folders before you start....
Thanks. This really helps with startup. But didn't fix the issue with lag. NT8 has processing delays past 100 ticks per second. Noticeable on the ES at open, close or any burst of high volume comes in.
Hi @bobc635 Thanks for the info and contribution. Very kind of you and very appreciated of your time and generosity, gonna try it and see. I must ask though these things that you have figured out that help other users is GREAT! So why are these needed? Meaning if there are underlying issues(not even underlying issues but if your workaround makes things better) with the platform why does @NinjaTrader not address them? Thus making your workaround not needed.
TIA
That is an excellent question.... I have given the files and instructions to NT Support over a year ago...I cannot say for sure, but I think that they have looked. The platform has become much much better over the past year. Of course if you are not pushing it like real users do, you probably do not see the issues. Having said that, you can modify the clean start bat file to remove or not remove whichever directories that you see fit for your use. Even if you remove no directories, it will start NT in High Priority mode so that should help as well. It takes no more effort to use this routine than to start NT with their icon.
