We recently bought a new router, that might be it. (It doesn't seem to be doing it any more, but that might be due to your change. I did have some old tabs up which may have contributed. Thanks for looking into it.
Well what you described should not trigger it. Sorry but I'm not at my desk so can't lookup your specific reason, but I don't want it to be intrusive to normal users.
I'll look into having it analyze the logged in cookie so we can bypass.
@snax, I made a change after reviewing the firewall logs and finding the reason this was happening.
In the future, you should see only a brief interstitial screen that does NOT require a captcha, then the edit/post should succeed. If that is NOT the case, please do let me know (or anyone else that is seeing this).

I've had it 3 or 4 times in the last week. I don't mind having to do the occasional captcha but the problem with this is the images are so bad I have no idea what some of them are. Then I end up having to do the captcha multiple times, which does get annoying.
This webinar is from 2011 and is no longer pertinent to the way images are attached today.
Today you can drag and drop from a file using the big blue thing labeled "Drag and Drop Attachments" over on the left of the edit window as you are typing a post. You can also just copy and paste into either that region or directly into the text of your post, like this:
I just did a copy/paste using the Windows snipping tool to get the image of what I had typed up to that point.
As to the general issue of flash plugins with old webinars, there is an ongoing project to convert the old webinars to a more up-to-date format, and many have been converted, but it is a time-consuming task and the older ones still need to be processed. At some time, this one will get its turn, but in the meantime, try using the current image tool instead. It is much, much easier, better, faster.
Bob.

Edit: Funny, it looks like the link you posted seems to be about images, but when I went to it, it appears to be a webinar from FatTails about his indicators.
Oops. This probably is some kind of error in where the link points.
I assume you really want to see something from FatTails, not something about posting images.
However, the same story still applies regarding the conversions. Sorry, but it will be a while before you can see this.
We'll have to figure out the problem with the link....

I'm having issues browsing the forum, I can't connect to it at all from home networks (I've tried from 2 different ones), but I have no problem browsing the forum using mobile data. I could browse the forum fine the day I discovered it. Also doesn't matter which device / browser / app i use to connect to it, it's down to my which network I'm browsing from.
I've fallen in love with this forum, I need my fix
