It looks like this topic hasn't been updated for awhile, so maybe this could stand as a new thread.
I have always been a Mac cat, so PC's are fairly alien to me. I run a PC partition on my Macbook so
I don't have a clue as to the hardware …
Also... you should learn to use the powerful search engine on this site.... most all subjects
have been touched on at some point and usually answers most of my questions.
Thanks AJ, I have been surfing the forums and I have got the needs of a trading computer but not the company to buy it from....
I will keep on searching and look atnyour thread.
Thanks a lot
I just came across the futures.io (formerly BMT) site and found it very interesting and informative. I have been trading forex for some 15 months and have busted 3 accounts in the process due to a lack of discipline and proper planning. As a beginner I find it extremely difficult to develop focus and find an approach that gradually improves my trading.
I very much look forward to interacting with you and learning from you. Thanks for including me in your community!
Hello all, just signed up and looking forward to poking around the forums here.
A little about myself:
I started trading back in Jan. 2007 swing trading stocks, then went into daytrading stocks, and back in 08/09 I switched to forex. Other than that I'm just your run of the mill mountain man (I live at 10,000ft in the Colorado Rockies).
Hello Everyone -
And thanks, Mike, for your welcoming note, much appreciated! So this is my first thread... I've been working on futures trading for about three years - without much consistent success, unfortunately. I discovered Big Mike's site through Mr. Top Step, Danny Riley's morning post and his mention that he's doing a seminar today on Big Mike's Forum on Floor to Screen Trading. I'm eager to explore and expand my trading skills, and develop more focus and control of trades through use of journaling and with help from futures.io (formerly BMT)'s many training resources and feedback from the members. I wish you all good fortune and success - and myself too. Best regards, Abii
