Made aware that this is the right thread to report bugs. (Posted earlier in "upgrade and rebranding".)
Bug Report:
In Safari on macOS, when I set the browser window size to half the screen, the menu behaves like this:
nexusfi
Another bug:
On Safari on iOS I get this weird black bar on the left side of the screen whenever I open a thread. Due to the bar, all the links on this part on the screen do not work.
I wanted to ask whether this is the intended behavior. When I click "View post" in the daily subscrption email
it gets me to the start of the thread instead of the last (unread) post. Even for threads that I already visited, so the site knows I read to the end of the thread yesterday already.
In the meantime, I just made live a new subforum view that allows us to follow the same visual style as the home page.
It was actually incredibly complex but phase 1 done.
I understand the value of screen real-estate, so I am currently working with the designer to condense the list a bit. I also will enhance the script so that the (1) and (2) areas I've marked will feature recent activity, not the current description.
When you drill down into Trading Reviews and Vendors, for example, you get two entrees, "Trading Reviews and Vendors" and "Brokers", which are the two principle categories in the review section: Thia ia clear, and I like it a lot:
That is great, but the main page still looks like this, showing only "Brokers." You couldn't tell from that level that there is anything other than broker reviews, but there are.
I think the main page view should show both categories, and so should all the other in the main page subforum view, because they all have a sort of general category like that, which should be shown along with the more specific ones.
But what you have done is a big step up in terms of making the structure of the forum more clear and easier to understand.

Yeah the header area will expand the click area so subforums match the homepage, waiting on designer for that.
I understand what you mean. But I can't do as you've asked, it would be an overwhelming number of forums to look at (double). I'm open to suggestions to make it more clear but I think the current method is likely it. When you click the parent forum, it scrolls the page down to the posts, hopefully making it clear what's happening.
What desktop revolution are you running? Have you tried it out on the Platforms group or Traders Hideout group?
I had a similar issue before the upgrade.
I'm not sure why.
I get notifications and usually after I click them they reset.
Today I received a notification via email and when I went to the page there was no notification.
I refreshed the page and the notice appeared and I answered the message but the notification will not reset.
When I click it this is what I see.
it will not clean the number showing I have unread messages.

I was trying to fix something and instead made it worse. I am very sorry, but the following posts were accidentally deleted. They all occurred after midnight Eastern today, Friday.
that means you need to redo the admin actions that took place today as well.
First time in 14 years I ever lost post data. Sorry guys.
