exited both lots. My initial setup had a target of the previous day high volume node identfied by the blue line. My inclination was to exit a one lot there but I am trying to learn to add to my winners. So far I haven't been doing well with that.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Another example of impatience leaving money on the table. Probably not to be out done by examples of holding too long and failing to capture profit. Discerning one situation from another is something I MUST learn.
Mistakes today! Last short trade I threw down was not very far outside the high volume node that I marked. It was close enough to be considered a test of it. In fact the market has sloshed around inside the two high volumen nodes ( I marked with blue lines ) all day. At least I did my homework correctly... but I failed to execute the plan.
The prior trade could have been a beigger one lot winner than thte 2 lot if I had just used the volume node as a target.
Again, monday morning quarter backing. If these trades I made worked out I would not be reflecting on these decisions as mistakes. And I have to wonder if the decisions I made would in fact provide an edge if I did them over an d over.. and only just had some bad luck today. No matter, I have no choice but to consider them mistakes and go from there.
overnight Euro Dollar is choppy. Presently somewhere in the middle of it's range on USD weakness
overnight crude continued to rally but is not ebbing just a bit.
overnight 10 year treasuries tested yesterday's lows and is now putting in a bottom.
ES premarket is just peeking out above yesterday's consolidation and prior day high volume nodes.
Putting it all together: I'm looking for a choppy day.
