I only had a minute before it killed the site, but it looked very good! (and apparently works better than any DOS attack
).
The only thing I really missed was the scroll bar (or the larger number of posts).
vvhg
There is a scroll bar, and this shows at least double the number of posts that the old version it replaces did. So.... you might have seen it while I was trying to fix some CSS errors.
But for now, it is disabled because it was causing permission errors in other parts of the site where it shouldn't. Waiting for developer to fix. Can't put the old one back because I am too far invested into the new one to undo all those changes. It might be a couple days due to holidays, but hopefully not.

No, I didn't see the scrollbar, maybe because I was browsing with my Ipad? I'm very glad to hear that it will show so many posts! But I've seen the permission errors...thought you kicked me off the site

In our last poll, I asked if futures.io (formerly BMT ) should stop re-posting ZeroHedge news articles. The (slim) majority said yes. Plus the fact is, I have been deleting a large number of these articles before most of you guys even see them because they are just too over the top or distasteful, or are just full of ads for third party services I would never allow on futures.io (formerly BMT) myself.
So, I've decided to disable the reposting of ZeroHedge articles. The CNBC bot will stay.
If you guys see good ZH news stories, you should feel free to post them yourself manually.

Some wording in the New User "welcome" email has been changed. I'm posting the whole thing below.
Quoting
Hello <username>,
Welcome to the
Big Mike Trading forum!
The secret to success with trading is within you, and we can help you find it.
We are different than other forums you may have visited, so take notice. Our community works extremely hard to keep everything moving forward in a positive way. We firmly believe there is no need for rude behavior in order to accomplish our goals of helping traders be successful.
We also firmly believe in sharing. There is no secret sauce here. If you want to be a good trader, you have to do the time and gain the experience. We can help, and the first lesson is simple -- there are no shortcuts, no holy grails, no magic indicators or systems that will ever make you profitable. Only you can make you profitable.
Are you here only for the downloads and indicators? If so, you are doing yourself a great disservice. The best way to improve your trading is by interacting with the community of traders in the forum itself. Chasing after holy grail indicators will just slow down your journey of accepting complete responsibility for your own actions and trading, instead of using indicators as scapegoats when something goes wrong. Eye candy is great, cool new toys are fun (indicators), but at the end of the day you need to decide -- are you here to make pretty charts, or are you here to make money?
The members of our community are expected to participate. That means starting threads, replying to posts, and in general providing useful information. It is like pay-it-forward: as you make these contributions you will receive them back in the end, and everyone wins. A leecher or lurker is someone who only takes and never gives back to the community -- don't be one. If you truly want to improve your trading, you need to participate in the community. Don't believe for a moment that you have nothing to contribute, that simply is not true. Just open up and make some posts, you'll do fine and you'll be welcomed.

The forum membership is private. This means that you are here by invitation only. That membership can be revoked at any time for any reason. Rude posts are not tolerated. Advertising is not tolerated.
There are large sections of the forum that are only accessible to Elite Members. An Elite Member is simply a trader who likes the site and what it stands for, and has decided to show their support by paying to become an Elite Member. You can get more info by clicking Elite Access from the top of any page on the forum. We appreciate your support.
Welcome to the family!
Regards,
Big Mike

Further, vendors are not permitted to make any posts in which you promote your business in any way. This means no promotional posts linking to your website, blog, videos,

I have deleted the $25 / 3-month option of Elite Membership. It was not widely used, and I think it just cheapens the community to have this option. It is gone now. There is just one option now: $50 for lifetime access.

If I upload an indicator, and then choose the "pencil" to make changes, it display the following keywords:
However, if I then click on "submit" to save the edited changes, the keywords look like (i.e. keywords are gone):
Am I doing something wrong?

It is a bug when editing an upload. When you first upload it, type in the tags and hit submit (the tags will be in the keyword input box, which in your screen shot is blank).

The developer has gone MIA. I will have to find yet another developer to resume this and about a dozen other projects. There is a huge shortage of quality vbulletin developers out there.
