There is a known bug in the UniRenko Bar type where certain swing Hi/Lo's can be off by 1 tick. In other words, a Hi/Lo may not be represented corrrectly but it occurs with certain settings. No one seems to be concerned with that behavior since the bug is still there.
I can't Thank You enough for fixing the memory leaks! This has been a great help in my trading! I really appreciate you taking the time to fix this and posting it in here!
Cheers!
but the bug is in all in the renko bars on here. Thats a pretty damn big bug. Just became an elite member for this. Could have at least gave a warning in the download page. Still thanks for the developer, but a warning would have been nice. Kinda of useless with this bug in it, thats not one pip either. thanks for the answer.
I've noticed the same thing but I'm not sure if there is a setting to change to fix this? Does anyone know if a setting can be changed somewhere to correct this? If not, I can continue to ignore it but I was just curious as I'm trying to relearn Ninja after using CrapT4 for the last several years...
Thanks!
You can compare the two bar types in BloodHound. I am going to run some tests this weekend on different bar types, so I thought I would mention it in case you had BH.
momentum bars or embars at Coroin LLC shows more show greater price accuracy
* If investing gets too difficult for a seventh grader to understand, the system is needlessly complex
* Markets produce an enormous volume of information, much of which is redundant
* In every game and con there's always an opponent, and there's always a victim. The trick is to know when you're the latter, so you can become the former
I downloaded BH yesterday and have been testing it out on a free trail. So far so good. I was wondering, however, if there are any more products out there like BH? Maybe some of them might be better? Don't know, just getting back to using Ninja after trading forex for many years and using CrapT4. So I'd like to know if there is any thing else out there I should try before making a purchase to see what I like better.
Ya, I think there is quite a few now that allow you to drag and drop your logic templates onto a board so you don't have to code. BloodHound is really easy and that is why I like it. But it is a huge memory hog. And your processor speed needs to be really fast if you are going to use all the bells and whistles in Ninja Trader at the same time you use BloodHound. For instance, I was using some heat maps of momentum I created in Ninja's market analyzer, that provided me signals of when an instrument was hitting my signal; and at the same time I had Ninja's record button set to record the day's session; and at the same time I was running several BloodHound templates. Long story short, my system kept crashing and I couldn't figure out what to turn off to get my "strategy" to work the way I wanted it to. I need like 3 processors. So, you have to use BloodHound in moderation with Ninja. Especially if you are trading off a laptop like me.
