Keep getting black boxes. I can’t read the text I type either. It’s black on black.

Try holding shift key while pressing reload button in your browser.
Oh I see it's Android, you have to delete cache. It's something wrong with the cache.

Search strongly prefers direct match, but by default a partial match (wildcard) should happen. Can you give me a search that you think should be linking to a post, that isn't?

The search is working with wild card as expected. For example, I tried to search for LR*.zip, and it gave me posts with LR word and LR*.zip files.

No, I didn't. I am using Edge on iOS. I did clear the cache, but it's still black. Safari, however, works just fine, so it's got to be a browser issue, not NexusFi.

Still sounds like cache.
In Edge, open a new private browsing window and go to NexusFi and see if it's fixed. That would confirm it's cache.
If yes, then back to normal Edge, use below instructions to clear cache. In Windows you just hold shift+refresh..
