Please read the recent ZenFire threads again and ask yourself if this is a good time for live trading. I can say to all Traders: Don't trade till the zenfire engine works properly for 2 weeks.
Good Luck!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Last Sunday the email I received from Mirus Futures said "ZenFire connectivity has stabilized and is available for live trading as of Sunday, January 5th." They warned that "instances of intermittent disconnects are still possible for applications connecting through the ZenFire API including" but having the Emergency Trading Desk down is a complete different story.
In my humble opinion you are shooting at the wrong compagny.
NT is, in my eyes, also a victim of the failure from zenfire/Mirus to handle the situation properly
.
There is no lack of leadership, on the contrairy. NT is monitoring the situation closely i think and they are helping where they can.
Nothing has backed their statement. Don't trust anything that comes from mirus these days. Currently there are fighting at different fronts. They haven't the ressources to handle these kind of errors in an efficient manner. They should close down the data feed und working at the main issue full time. No distractions due to risk management or emergency desk tasks. But they decided to let their customers run into the storm. As an result of this, a lot of traders running away from mirus. But i think it's only a question of time till mirus get the things right. So keep calm and don't trade to avoid panic attacks.
May be i am shooting the wrong company here. However who holds the partnership agreement and where is the Service Level and accountability clause in the contract.
NT's helpdesk should be manned in this critical times and support should be offered with what ever resources.... Not there.. i am sorry who am i suppose to blame here.
In this critical times NT could have shown real ownership by looking after its own customer base and they have Lifetime customers, at least they should be treated with some respect by NT.
A change of this magnitude went without proper testing and UAT, where is there PVT.
We all got told that only a handful customers were impacted...Looks like that handful are futures.io (formerly BMT) members, Yeah Right.
I'm also a victim in a way, but managed to end my trades, i agree go direct to your Dorman or RCG to execute your trades who actually execute for Mirus anyway,
This is what i did to at least see what the market was doing real time while i was flying blind with trades on, you will need to enter a new sim key into NT7 thats all and then change back once u sort out who gets your business
AMP's have free data to sim trade it takes about 15mins & you have instant data to NT7 and potentially an new broker
What i want to know is, do Dorman service the public direct?
if so can anyone chime in with a review or costs etc
i remember reading on this forum, where a trader had contingency plans that i thought were overkill,
2 networks, 2 pc's, 2 data providers, 2 brokers, 2 good luck charms,
this i a huge wake up for me, fortunately my trades were in profit but still made it's point very clear
cheers
