I sincerely appreciate all those who have voiced their support and expressed the desire to see Optimus and
NinjaTrader continue to work together in the years to come as we have in years past. While I am saddened that Optimus will not be able to refer new traders to the NinjaTrader platform, I want to reiterate to our existing Ninjatrader clients that we will continue to support you with the same guidance and expertise we always have.
When I founded Optimus my goal was to provide a knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant support network for our traders. As online trading became more popular and accessible to retail traders the trading platforms became more robust, feature-filled, and capable. The advancements in technology have brought many new opportunities for traders, but they have also introduced new complexities. This brought me to the conclusion that it was not enough for brokerages just to provide a ‘gateway’ for orders to be placed: They MUST understand the software!
With this philosophy in mind we made it a top priority to learn about our technology offerings inside and out so that we can quickly provide seamless support whether it be a basic question or a time-sensitive issue where a comprehensive understanding of all the moving parts involved is essential. This approach has meant that our customers can let us do the legwork to resolve their inquiries rather than entering a loop where a brokerage representative directs the user to the platform vendor’s support only to be directed back to the brokerage without a resolution in sight. One specific example I would use here that illustrates our commitment to platform support was a NinjaTrader-exclusive plugin we developed that allowed our clients to send us a message directly from a NinjaTrader chart. This meant swift access to the Optimus team for quick inquiries without having to even minimize a window!
Not only do I believe it is important to provide a successful support avenue for customers, but I also believe in ‘teaching a man how to fish.’ In addition to becoming proficient and learning the ins and outs of a platform we also wanted to share this accumulation of knowledge that we worked hard to obtain for our customers. This means we did not limit ourselves just to improving our support experiences. We also aimed to give back to the trading community and our customers by producing public educational resources in the form of video libraries, newsletters, free live education presentations, dedicated forums, and more. What I didn’t realize was that over time our clients became more comfortable and competent and we received less support inquiries. In other words, our customers gained a deeper understanding and our team was able to take on new challenges with the increase in efficiency.
Unfortunately, I have found that the competition in the industry has not always tried to acquire customers with the dignity and decency clients deserve, and quite frankly this has placed a burden on prospective traders who are weighing out their options. I would like to point out that we at Optimus have always strived to be straight-forward and unbiased when it comes to our technology offerings. If a prospect were to call in and ask about NinjaTrader — we would address them in the
context of NinjaTrader and not try to steer them in any direction other than their best interests. I understand that not all brokerages have operated this way, nor have they provided the resources or support that customers should expect. However, to be quite honest, I’m at a loss to see what more Optimus could have done to differentiate our services from those brokerages who would be considered by some ‘lead leachers’, or those who failed to provide adequate support for their ‘supported’ platforms.
Due to our reputation, we are often approached by platforms asking us to carry them as our ‘Flagship’ software. We believe every trader is different and has different needs in a software product which is why we shy away from recommending ‘one size fits all’ approaches. Although we do not wish to push anyone’s specific agenda, we are examining new solutions for our customers so we can give an ethical and transparent overview of functionalists, work-flows, capabilities, and limitations of all of our offerings and potential new offerings so that our customers are well informed of their options.
I take these recent changes in business relationships as an opportunity for Optimus to focus more on technology and service rather than the lowest commission rate or “$1,000 Minimums” which tends to attract
perpetual paper traders and those who may be better served observing the markets before committing their risk capital.
We are excited to continue making progress in this field, and we will be happy to share new news as it comes with the many of your who have been so supportive of Optimus. I assure you we have big plans for the future and not just another ‘promotional’ piece.
It’s time to set the bar higher.

THERE IS A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS IN FUTURES TRADING. PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.
It is sad what had happened and the way it was implemented by Ninja. I like to thanks Matt and all Optimus staff for their support and their expertise. Thanks to them I could get the best for my strategies.
My focus is on moving to other platforms that work with Optimus, so "Bye bye Ninja"

Sure, I would be more than happy to hook you up. To be honest, we have not studied it yet, so we cant give outstanding support. But, if you can tell me which features we should focus on and what features you like, I would be more than happy to create some technical videos.
Consider also QST (Quick Screen Trading) for your Mac. It is stable and used by FCMs.

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

Hi guys,
this seems to be the right place to post it.
I decided to go live and, after much thought, I chose to go with Optimus Trading.
It's unbelievable to find such warmth and hospitality in a trading environment. You would think, and I would have thought, they are all sharks, only after your money; totally the opposite with Optimus Trading!!
Matt feels like a buddy you know for years, and the whole team behind him just as well. They are amazingly available for every little single thing!!!
Also, a big big note for the platform Sierra Chart : miles away from all the other ones I tried so far.
It just feels so right. To be honest, now that Im using and getting to know it I wouldnt change it with any other platform.
So, to the risk of becoming cheesy (maybe I got there already) I want to thank Matt, John and Jessica from the Optimus Trading staff for being there every time I need them, and the Sierra Chart support group for working hard on such a beautiful platform.
Ciao
