Nexus Notifications


I am getting this from notifications.
(Top right of image)
I can't see the notification as usual.
(I know what it is from the email I received)

Clicking the link does not open the notification page.
The last time this happened (months ago) the notification never cleared after I went to the post.

I got the notice of your reply and when I went to it, that notice disappeared as it should but the original post notification is still showing as 1.

Yes, it is listed there.

It could be that the normal @myname was not used and caused the issue.

Thanks to Google, we've had to change URL's of threads.

It's a rather significant change that I've been working on for weeks. I have had to revert it every prior time to keep fixing bugs, but I think today is the day -- so far, it's working as it should.

If you have trouble accessing threads, changing pages, following links, etc -- please post them here so I can investigate.

The chatbox has been removed from the bottom of the home page. Yes, I know! Fifteen years of history there. But, we are replacing it with Markets Chat features just as soon as we can...

To see the difference you'll need to look at this post on a different device.

Actually, mine is just like yours. I'm not sure why it comes across with the color shift.
Maybe it is the Snipping tool when saved as a image, changing the colors.

A day later and we're still here, so I think I finally solved it. Been trying to do this for a while!

Basically, old URLs looked like "name-of-thread-post-77742" using a 20 year old SEO formula.

Times have changed and the old structure was actually causing a lot of problems with Google, so they now look like:

"t=2497&p=72411"

Google likes that way better. The keywords in URL stopped mattering years ago. It's also faster for the site.

As always, please report any issues.

Old bookmarked URLs should still load fine.
