My Name is Rob. I've been learning how to trade for around a year and I am continuing to do so.
I hope to contribute where I can and look forward to sharing my ideas.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I am new to the forum.
I prefer ES at Ninja trader.
it seems that there is a lot of useful staff.
Thanks for everybody and the forum starter for such nice source!
Best regards to all!
I'm new to this forum but I've been lurking for a while and I like the community you have growing here.
I'm a trader from Toronto. I trade US and Canadian equities intraday, as well as spot forex.
I enjoy helping people with trading mechanics, as well as trading psychology. I mostly do this since it helps reinforce and refine my own thoughts on trading, as staying disciplined and consistent is by far the most important part of doing this professionally.
I even put together a little site that holds a collection of my thoughts on trading psychology. I was going to link it here but I'm not sure how you guys treat such shameless plugs (it's non-commercial in any case.)
Hello, MY trailing stops are a magnet to the market. If I could trade opposite of what I actully do I'd be rich and teaching others. Instead I as everyone else is trying to make sense of it all and profit a bit from my toiling around in the market
I have only been trading for less than 7 months and I was doing that on my Mac. I recently purchased an HP PC desktop because I realize most trading platforms/software do not work so well on Mac.
Unfortunately, my Windows 8 (which I use in Desktop mode because I do not like the Tile Mode) is not responding well to any 3rd party software. The alert/sound files will not work in any of the platforms I have tried: Ninja Trader, TradeStation, etc.
I've spent hours on the phone with tech support and they could not find the problem. I called HP and they said the problem is with the 3rd party software not being updated to handle Windows 8.
It's very frustrating to buy a new computer in order to trade and then the platforms don't work properly because of Windows 8 (I regret buying Windows 8 now). I'm taking my computer back to Best Buy to have the Geek Squad try to remedy this problem (if it even can be).
Has anyone heard of this happening to anyone else..........no sound alerts in 3rd party apps/platforms in Windows 8?
My name is Maarten, learning to trade Forex. I found futures.io (formerly BMT) while looking for platform information. I'm looking forward to digest all the useful info here!
My first post a part of the forum, and it keeps reminding me I've been a member for a while, but never posted anything...So I'm trying out for Top Step trader, and will let you all know how I do...
Hi. Signed here few days ago.
Hope to find nice people to discuss views and share knowledge.
Started with trading in the late 90is with Stocks then had a pause and started again 4 years ago.
Again with stocks/pinks but moved fast to Forex. I scalp, but like it more and more to swing trade H1-D1
