One server decided to die in a strange way last night right after I finished for the night (around 8pm Eastern). Auto-migration to the other servers didn't work. Site was down until I got up this morning and looked at my phone.
Back now. This was a strange one, never seen this before.
You had appropriate precautions in place to prevent an outage, which should have switched over to other servers in case of an issue, and then that protection failed. I'm sure you will find the cause of it, but it's a simple fact that with hardware, something can and eventually will go wrong. You make the provisions that you can, as well as you can, and realize that nothing is perfect.
Not a problem, Mike.

Another tweak to this just now, to reduce one of the page redirects. It's complicated when there are millions of URLs, so if you notice any weird behavior please report it here with a link if possible.
I'm very new here so no basis for comparison - so immediately checked out "Is it down right now" and looked on other social media platforms for Nexus - It looked like downtime is quite rare or scheduled, so I was worried it might be DOS or something nefarious. As the night drew on (I live in Vancouver and work out of Seattle) I checked multiple times and the concern grew. The world we're heading into with advances in AI will make the cat-and-mouse game of staying ahead of bad actors more and more difficult. Glad everything is okay!
Let this be a reminder for all of us to always have a backup plan for our trading systems, even if it's as simple as connecting your phone for trade monitoring. It's all smooth sailing until it's not.
