first day back from vacation. The initial plan off the open, was to short near the ON highs(also val 12/5)This did indeed happen, but silly me,i was distracted.Price came back up,and i put a shrt order just a tad too high, didnt fill. That was really the trade of the day for me.The target was yest poc,87.90.
cl overshot this, and dipped below yest val just above cod.I did take a long, but ,wasnt too thrilled with the execution.
Execution is an area i need to get much better at.I seem to be fumbling my wat y through it each time.
Initially,i was looking for a short off vwap, for a continuation down.Cl hesitated for a moment at rth vwap, and proceeded higher.I guess news came out,at 10:30,and price went to yest hod/todays open.Based on the vwap being penetrated, this was a bad choice...look to trade the extremes.
a short could have been taken at 11:20,which was a naked poc from12/5,however,i stop at 11 am,plain and simple.
Todays execution was bad.I continue to struggle with it.I had the footprint up,and im just not ready for it...too much info, and i make mistakes.I need to keep it simple.
Based on my evaluation, prer market,i should have had a decent day,but this was not the case.I will be out tomorrow, peace
We both used New Futures Trading before the guy Henry decided to go on a bender with 1.5 mill of people money that he was supposed to be trading
emmm i have watched them for so long that i can read them well, i can see buy and sell pressure in a market
Its useful for me....for you may be....may be not
I could and have traded with out them, but they help me with market direction and entries
Like most indicators they are lagging....but if you understand how the time frames correlate they work well

As i said in a previous post, i have been learning/playing with session times
Logically......i used to calculate it from 2:30 EST close
But the 24/7 seems to work best for me
To me it makes sense to calculate from the close, as that is the start of the round globex session
May be i will re consider this, i have been playing with session time for a while

Yes, he's so good he even got the market to give him 'positive slippage' in some of the early videos he posted here at futures.io (formerly BMT) In all seriousness, he is a nice guy, I have talked with him. But there are too many ways to fake a video, and doing it is quite simple. I could demonstrate if you like, live clock and all. No days making less than $3000 in at least 20 videos, and many up to $8000 or more; the guy never loses. Oh yeah, and he's done in 30 to 60 minutes and has all day to live the dream. Yet, he apparently sells trading education. Vendors don't get very creative do they? Yes, some legend!
They don't need to be that creative when there are people lining up to give them money and believe anything. There is some weirdo vendor guy out there that creates videos that says futures.io (formerly BMT) is a scam, that all the people on futures.io (formerly BMT) are all the same person, etc. He claims to have the secret code to the market, and will sell the code to you. And he probably has tons of business and plenty of money. How he sleeps at night, I couldn't tell you.
I have a "vendor solution" forthcoming, I will post in detail soon - and I hope it will shed light on some of this dishonest crap, while allowing honest vendors to represented fairly. More to come later.
