Hi Mike,
Could we place the unread posts link at the bottom of the forum next to the bookmarks or tags? I like to link back to that and I think we could scan new posts faster. So the same link at the top and the bottom.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Working on adding a new feature, the Question and Answer board. This feature has taken a lot of work and I've run into some bugs here and there, so I may be off/on for a few more days as I work out remaining bugs.
Many users often feel intimated or are unsure of exactly how or where to ask a question. This feature was created with that in mind, to encourage these users to participate!
Added a couple new drop down menu options on the navbar for Arcade, to try to encourage more users to participate in the Tournaments (most users don't know they are there).
I've added .m (Matlab) as an acceptable file extension for file attachments on the forum. I've also created a Matlab category within the Downloads/File Sharing section.
Matlab is very popular in quantitative trading and high frequency trading, and is used extensively by many traders. I hope that the Matlab users of the site will contribute some scripts/functions to this section. I am relying on you to help!
Not exactly futures.io (formerly BMT) related, but on the sister site bmcharts.com I made some enhancements so you can now add tags to your uploaded charts (like "ES, 6 range, SMI" or "CL, 5 minute, butterfly pattern").
The tags are searchable, so you can go to Gallery then search for all charts with a match of "butterfly" or all charts with a match of "CL", etc etc.
New feature so give it some time, only applies to new images going forward obviously...
Tonight I re-arranged the Programmer's Paradise section a bit.
Because the site is growing rapidly we needed to get organized a bit more in this area. Initially the site was 100% NinjaTrader based. But recently we are attracting a growing number of TradeStation, MultiCharts, MetaTrader and other platform members.
With this in mind, it was necessary to re-arrange the Programming section so it would be easier to find things for your specific platform, and to encourage participation for non-NinjaTrader users.
If you are an EasyLanguage, MQL MT4/MT5, Matlab/R, Sierra Chart or other platform (non-Ninja) member, PLEASE HELP US OUT by participating in these new categories.
It should also be noted that the Programmer's Paradise section is designed for developers. Not so much for end users. Users who just want indicators but aren't programmers should stick to the "Downloads/File Sharing" section.
