Matt is now running a daily Live Trading Room for Mohan's Boomerang Day Trader where he patiently explains the setups you should wait for. He watches several markets and also shows live trades in the room.
The owner of IW is a thief, and I base that opinion on catching him red handed.. My friend a trading educator was duped by the owner of IW to reveal some info on how he trades and to allow him to use his indicator. He pretended to be a down on his luck newbie. Fast forward a few months later and guess what I find on IW website, that's right the exact thing reversed engineered with a different name. My friend called IW out and IW admitted he did it with a weasel excuse and offered to pay him 50% royalties to avoid a lawsuit. I don't know what the resolution was.
The user "tttrader" is actually Adam from Indicator Warehouse. He was previously banned but has tried to come back, and here is his latest attempt to come back (which is a violation of our terms of service).
I have banned him again.
Keep in mind anything this user "tttrader" has said is in fact Adam's words, not the words of a normal user.
Guys n gals how ye doing. I have no clue what's going on with this stuff but I can say I've asked Mike about what's gone on in the past and I haven't got much of an answer yet or proof of thievery.
I was worried about it because I am interested in their indicators.
So not one to be biased I emailed Adam about the details in here and he was quite open about discussing it. So after a couple of demos I bought some DTS stuff... I'm happy with their performance on sim so far... And I'm still in touch with Adam and he is genuinely worried about his reputation in here. However I am by no means connected, I am a consumer of the indicators and it remains so. I will say in your defender here they could be a good bit cheaper but I managed to cut a bit of a deal. Hopefully it will all work out when I start to trade live.
From my point if view, I know what it's like to be scammed... By The erroneous Joseph James but When I talk about it in trade 2 win forums I give exact evidence and details of the scam. Check out the trade2win frms for that one.
Maybe this is harder to prove but if open source code is out there people just might get ideas from it?
It's not like a major thing, or is it? I know from doing websites I grab bits if code from anywhere..HTML or otherwise.
Anyway my point is I was in a conundrum weather to try a lot of open source indicators here and spend time putting a system together myself. Or buy one that's been back tested and at least claims it works.
So after my due diligence that I have mentioned earlier, I went with DTS. And so far happy with results ... It's really all I can say, I have no idea about the rest of the stuff said here to be completely honest and I have no problem discussing things. Mike forum is fantastic place for information and I'm happy with DTS.
Anyways I'm conspiracast on Pro Traders Unite Skype channel if anyone wants to chat... Cheers.
If he was worried about his reputation, he should have thought about that before creating duplicate accounts after being banned for not following futures.io (formerly BMT) rules and going on to pretend to be a regular user and make postings defending Indicator Warehouse or pro-Indicator Warehouse, when he in fact was Adam of Indicator Warehouse.
What more proof do you need? I am sure he won't deny that if you ask him directly.
I just wanted to put my two cents worth in here if I may do so.
I would like to say for the record that Adam and I have worked together in the past. At one point in our working relationship not too long ago I did take issue with some things and Adam and I had a difference of opinion that was at the time irreconcilable in my mind.
As I have now found myself at a different place as a Trader however than I was even six months ago, I have accepted the fact that indeed many of the techniques I use are my own spin on something that someone else taught me somewhere along the line over the past nearly fifteen years now. I have seen many indicators evolve from their original format with drastic improvements from one generation to the next. I have really been thinking about all of the allegations that vendors seem to make against one another and sometimes traders make against vendors, of copy catting. I am wondering is it really such a bad thing? I mean there is outright stealing which I think we can all agree is not good. And then there is taking an idea and making it better. Isn't that why we have cell phones now? cell phones that can take videos and allow people to video conference from their golf carts to the other side of the planet? It's called progress as long as you play by the rules.
So with that thought in mind I made it a point to speak with Adam recently after I saw this post where someone went so far as to outright call Adam a thief. I also made it a point to talk to the person that made the post in order to find out what indicator was stolen. I really need to know that the allegations are true since I am a part of the thread albeit PRIOR to the time that the above statement was posted.
Here is what I found out... The person who posted that Adam is a thief says that he or she cannot remember what indicator it was as it was two years ago. And this person does not talk to the friend whose indicator was allegedly stolen. OK Fair enough..
Adam offered me the only explanation he could come up with which was basically that he has no idea who this person is, or what they are talking about but would certainly appreciate hearing from this person directly in order to hear the charges that have been made against him here on this forum. I think that too is a fair response and that certainly any reasonable and unbiased person would agree.
So these were the responses I received, now here is my opinion... I believe that Adam is NOT A THIEF based on what this person who has called him one has posted on here. There seems to be no support to that.
I believe that my differences with Adam were perhaps clouded with emotions at the time and that I drew a hard line in the sand in terms of how I defined an event that took place at the time. My comments were stronger than they needed to be. Therefore I do not believe that Adam is a thief based on the disagreement that we had either.
Those are two issues that I can speak to. In terms of how the situation was handled regarding anything else I have to leave that to Mike and Adam. Mike has a very good handle on how things are done here at futures.io (formerly BMT) and I respect him as a human and as the gatekeeper of the futures.io (formerly BMT) Community and Forum. Adam has also shown fine leadership qualities in the past and has a proven record of success and achievement. I believe that with two individuals as bright and talented as these two guys that anything is possible and I certainly hope for a good outcome for all in the future.
The Big Mike Forum constitutes a substantial resource and is the property of Big Mike. To get access to this substantial resource you have to enter into a legally binding agreement. Adam Halpern repeatedly lied when entering into that agreement so that he could steal access to the substantial resource that is Big Mike's forum and present himself falsely as a customer. Not once, but twice. Perhaps more. That makes him a liar and a thief.
That does not seem to bother you in the least. You seem to have the same disrespect for legal agreements and the property of others as does Adam Halpern.
I recently purchased a part of one of their systems. What I did not realize was that it was one part of the three part system. I did find it useful, but it did not work out for my style of trading. That being said, Adam contacted me to offer a refund. Ever heard of a vendor doing this? I have not. I was on the plan where I leased as I went until it was paid off. Not sure what has happened in the past, but I felt this was more than fair, and cannot say anything negative about them, if anything, much more positive.
