First guess would be the .exe doesn't match versions with the rest of the installed files. Are you sure they are both the same dot release? (6.5.1000.x)?
I am testing the hack for version 6.5.1000.14, I am using 2.66Ghz quad core windows 7 64bit home premium with 8GB memory, it worked a for a while running some custom strategies on a ES 5000 volume chart with 3 days' data loaded, but now Ninjatrader.exe is using 25% of the CPU( 1 full core), and 2,894,928k(2.9G) memory and it's not responding.
Is there something wrong with my strategies(calculating on tick level as well), or is 2.9G the limit?
Hey guys......... I want to thank you for posting this memory fix and thus solving the crashing problem I was having with NT on my new 64bit Quad Core i7 950.
Now if you could just make my NT7 Beta 6 behave and play nice I would REALLY be grateful. Oh well, maybe in a few months it will work.

fully agree with that conclusion,
there is another, no, there are two (Yoda says) solutions
with Vista and Win7 usage of "Turbo Memory", which requires, especially on laptops, a small card added to the motherboard with dedicated ram in either 2GB or 4GB variants
what you can do is "pin" the application to that dedicated memory area and watch it fly!
what it does is achieve almost parallel results to what virtualization does, and leaves most of the application memory resident in a dedicated space with lazy writes to the HDD's, thus not slowing down for i/o latency issues
hope that's as straight forward as it gets and helps
May I ask you 1 question, please
I saw below link and learnt that I have Ready Boost, but apart from that I need that "Turbo Memory" outside card, right ?
or I missing/messing something ?

I saw that card designed specifically for Turbo Memory, on new laptop designs, and thought that it would be nice to have additional and specific 2GB/4GB memory available for applications that I specifically "pin" to it.
There also was and remains a product called SuperCache or something, I can't quite find anymore, which provided a similar solution.
Whether or not you need to purchase an additional module or not to use one of the PCI slots, or not, would depend on the motherboard and its capabilities.
I did so a search on google: "pinning applications to cache" and got some seriously good responses, perhaps that might help with your question.
