Not saying i will buy these, but looking at High Resolution Monitors, and Cards that will Support them at Good Prices.
I am keeping an Eye out for Monitors and checking Specs on Video Cards .....both with Display port.
I will continue to look into this for a couple more weeks, then if i have not found the right components at this Resolution i am going to have to settle for Lower Resolution set up.
btw....here is what i have so far for a possible Build, but it keeps changing as i Research and learn more about a component: Memory and Motherboard Colors do not match each other.....only 1 Video Card listed supporting 2 Displays....i would need 1 more of these if i decided to go with that one.
I am still trying to confirm about AMD FirePro W4100 which has 4 Mini Display Ports and can run 4 Monitors each at 2560x1600.
But i have read that it will Not do 4x1 or 4 Monitors in Portrait Mode ?.....trying to confirm, as i sent request to have this answered.
If it can do 4x1...i am willing to pay out the $ 150 to try it out....
I listed the AMD FirePro W2100 also, but it runs Only 2 Displays....they do run in 2x1 or Portrait Mode...i just would need 2 cards, and will loose out on the Speed that is Provided in the 1 PCIe 3.0 x16 slot....i would have to be in x8 speed if i ran 2 cards.....i do not really think it would matter that much if it comes to that.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
dont cheap out on monitors - you want IPS as you have to look at these things for hours and hours at a time, charts will be positioned at different angles and distances to your eyes - nothing worse than everything looking different in color/shade depending one where you are fixing your attention.
its awesome to look at one enormous chart spanning several screens - you want uniformity (IPS) trust me - when i upgraded to four monitors from three, it totally gave me the sh*ts having just one different monitor - so it wasn't long before i had four identical monitors
Nothing wrong with starting with one good monitor and adding over each couple of months
just left from a local Best Buy , and bought 3 Dell 24" Monitors for my sons....i may try one out today just to see how it looks......i only paid $ 100 for each....i could not pass up the deal.
Here is the deal at Costco for a not so big ego with plenty of power and up to 3 monitors for a dedicated machine. Deal good until Dec 1st.
Also, a couple of nice looking 24 and 27 Samsung monitors discounted too (1920 - 1080P). The monitors show sold out online but they have them in Warehouse stores.

you are both right, and both wrong, and that is the quandary. I strongly suggest calling the tech support numbers for the mfgr of the video card you "intend" to use and pose those questions, in every combination to them. You will be surprised at how honest they will tell you that their cards do not support, and in which order you would have to use the ports available. You will be surprised...
I think Yoda said it best in the STaR WaRs franchise....You will be.....
get your purchase there, as well as talk with the techs there too... get advice on your proposed build... go over your parts list, and see the alternatives from so many vendors and prices... don't forget to purchase the extended warranty, which allows you to return the items, well past the 10, 15 or 30day window....
you would drop your lower jaw, after talking with Adam over at EZ Trading Computer, over their chat now function of their webpage, regarding how much is wrong with these conclusions
we all make them, namely, the big box purchase of an onsale computer desktop, only to be swamped and out of the water when there is a volume surge, or a data explosion, which occurs daily at the 9:30 EST open. computer and trading system freezes,
you owe it to yourself to see what's wrong with that equation...
after all, if our systems go down, then what's the point in all the charts, indicators, trader training and such, if the machine can keep up

I priced a reasonable component build at just over $2,000, starting fresh. Its priceless, all the skills and experience and confidence you get from building your own, and familiarity with the parts, software and components. Sure its cheaper to purchase than build, but then again are those who rent over buy, or lease over marry...
