The ES and NQ are pretty volatile and liquid during the day. The ES is liquid in the overnight session, NQ not so much. Typically, you will see a 20-40 point range on the NQ and 10-20 point range on the ES depending on the type of day. Attached …

Hello Everbody. I have had the wish to become a full-time trader since over 15 Years. I am still researching, but i do want to take the plunge in the very near future.
Therefore, at the moment i will read this forum without much writing myself. But as soon as i have something interesting to share, i will gladly do it.
Hello everyone, Steve from South Florida here. In searching for a way to supplement my pension income once I retire in 5 or so years I decided to investigate online trading. Although I have Zero background or experience in financial instruments, I've had surprisingly good results using sim accounts from various online brokers over the last two months or so. Fortunately, I also have plenty of time to devour books on trading (and to read posts and watch webinars on valuable sites such as this, and others). And thank god that I've been able to come to the realization that there is sooooo much that I don't know. I'm sure that if I had moved forward with my plan to start trading live immediately based on my success on sim, that I would have blown out my account and created negative psychological issues that would have put me in a hole from early on. Thanks to Mike for this great forum, and to FuturesTrader71, both of who are incredible in their desire and effort to help aspiring traders become consistently profitable.
Cheers!
Steve

With gratitude

Not only new to trading but blog stuff as well - have tried to reply to DD's welcome. Does not appear to be a way to reply below, and so I tried other methods under send message to DD but not allowed without posting 5-10 more times ~ lol Anyway, if you see this DD, thanks!
I figured I would finally write up an introduction thread seeing as it has been 109 days since my joining and becoming an Elite member. I am still in university so I have been using alot of my time simply learning all things stock market for the last two years. I admit I have been on the hunt for the holy grail for the past couple months and it hasn't been helping my trading anxiety. Over the time of being a member, I have read much and hope that this will be the straw that broke the camel's (anxious) back.
Hi everyone,
I've done a lot of research. I'm trying to build a career for myself and better my way of life. Nice to be here. Looking forward to learning with everyone.
Thank you so much... I'm really glad to be here and be a part of this. Congratulations on all this. You've done an amazing and a wonderful job...
Thanx once again...
