Site has been down for about 90 minutes and is still down to everyone as I type this. I am able to get in only because I modified my hosts file to bypass DNS.

INFORMATION ON DOWN TIME
At approximately 4:00 AM Eastern Friday morning, the site went down due to our Domain Name registrar having a complete and catastrophic failure. At least 35,000 other websites are affected. All their worldwide operations went offline, which made resolving our IP address impossible.
I am unable to move our Name Servers to a different registrar until they restore their operations so I can gain access to the user control panel at the registrar and make changes to it.
I apologize for the outage, and I will make arrangements to have backup DNS services in place ASAP. Please follow us on Twitter for updates.
I have been pulling a lot of all nighters lately, and I am so exhausted right now my head is spinning. So I have no choice but to sleep soon. I've done everything possible to try to get the site back up, but the registrar is not answering phones, the datacenter they are hosted in cannot tell me anything, and I can't transfer to a new registrar because all my domains are 'locked' (fairly common practice these days).
So I have no choice but to wait. Go to sleep, and hope they solve the problem and come back on-line soon, and have not instead gone out of business or had some massive server crash.
I've also called and emailed ICANN and made them aware of the situation, I am hoping if needed I can get their help to bypass the transfer locks and move the domains to a different registrar.
