Hello my friends, and thanx Cory for this wonderful indy that I've been using since February.
I still can't manage to make alerts work. I've put different wav files in a folder, changed the folder path setting and enabled the alerts with the flags.
If you have any clue about what could cause this problem...thank you!

@kavklov , it looks like it converted clean using NT8 v7 released this afternoon. Since we are at a dead time I cannot be sure if it worked so test it.
It is a cs file, I assume U know how to put that in the indicators directory and then open editor. Open the file and compile.

Dear Cory,
thanks a lot for VolStop.
I've been using it since many months on NT8 and it helped me a lot to improve the consistency of my strategies.
Now I'm implementing the idea in InvestorRT (hope you don't mind!) and wanted to ask you if the logic check behind the drawing of the TriangleUP signal, as I read from your code, is this:
(VO >= VO.1) AND
(VO.1 >= VO.2) AND
(
(HI – LO) < (HI.1 – LO.1) OR
ABS (OP – CL) < ABS (OP.1 – CL.1) OR
(HI – LO) >= ((HI.1 – LO.1) * 1.2) AND LO <= LO.1 AND LO.1 <= LO.2 AND CL >= OP
)
I'm writing VO.1 to indicate Volume[1] and HI.1 for High[1]. I'm using 1.2 as range_expansion.
Coding like that, I get more signals than in NT... just wondering why.
Instead, I managed to show the DiamondUP correctly.
Thanks again for the help you would give me,
I wish you the best.
Francesco
@fraquo
I am not familiar with investor coding but please check out post #7 of this thread then if you are still unclear ask again, thanks.
